no but paying the Federal Tax is illegal and there is not law that says that you must pay the federal tax goes to the federal reserve a independent bank that has nothing to do with the government, but you have to pay for them for using our money and then charge us interest on it ....no property tax goes for School county hospitals ect that help American with no health coverage and low income families...
Whomever the politician is in this video, he has no right to ask a citizen to count money to the cashier. It is her job to do it. But I would rather enjoy counting it out, one dollar per ten seconds, and force them to stay after hours. Fucking govt.
@swiftomatik Good luck with that R&T Code 2502. Taxes may be paid in legal tender or in money receivable in payment of taxes by the United States. The tax collector shall have the right to refuse the payment in coins of property taxes, penalties and interest, and any other charges associated with the payment of property taxes.
serioulsy what are you going to accomplishby "protesting" at this place? nothing. if you want to change state3 law then you have to deal with the politicians and your constitutents. protesting alone does not change the law. you ot to find a way to change the law through the systme.
Doing these type of protests opens the eyes of the people that are there paying their taxes as well...If I own my home and have paid it off the goverment can come in and sell it if i don't pay the property tax, so in reality you are paying rent on the land that your home is on.
I agree it is stupidity to hassle the cashiers there. They need to create their own bill stating the citizens of this state don't want to pay property taxes....the answer they will create another way to get it. I guess there's always ....Canada!
because people have been paying taxes in pennies a long time, and if you listen to enough of the stories on the radio, you know thats what they make you do. They do it if the roll is short they can contact you. Also paying 4000$ in property taxes in pennies weighs 2205lbs -- good luck getting that around...
thats messed up. thats like the government making the people do its job, say they make you count the money like they said in the video, not only are they taking your money, they are making you give it away, and do all the work (count it)
They make YOU give it to them, its not like they take it from you. The government posses everyone. Isnt that weird. It makes people do stuff they dont want to do. but its like an invisible force that orders people around.
Yeah, it is a weird thing. But eventually, it will come after you with violent force and murder you or lock you in a cage for X-number of years. Ruby Ridge, the Browns tax protesters, etc.
Ian Freeman is certainly not the first brainfart to pay taxes in fives or ones or pennies - that crap has been going on all over for years and years. The only thing it does....it causes more work for some old lady town clerk to count it, which isn't very hard today with automatic money counters.
@harryogre YES. Thats so fucked up... it just seems so dirty and wrong. This "government" I guess its true that anarchy is the only way to live, but some people just cant handle that i guess. not mature enough to respect other people.
In the words of Ed Brown's judge.....37 YEARS. What good does showing a law do to a freestate type? If they don't like it - they cry like little girls how unfair life is.
if there in fact was a law that mandated everyone pay a tax on their income.. a lawyer here on YT did a 4 part series and concluded that he couldn't find the law that says even lawyers have to pay income taxes.. commerce (buying and selling with no value added) is taxable, labor which is private property is NOT taxable..
paying any bill does NOT include counting out your money for someone, that's the clerks job.. when's the last time you saw someone in line in front of you paying in $1's and counting outloud 1 dollar, 2 dollar, 3 dollars, etc.. I would have said "here, I paid you now count it so you know I paid you enough.." simple..
I agree. The clerk signs off on the payment not the payee. If we are forced to count the we are welcomed to use slight of hand. That way we can pay short 1/4 the amount and the clerk would be forced to accept the payment in full. See how someone was putting words into the mouth of the payee. Its so pathetic but is business as usual to me.
That guy was a jerk, they should have said if you want the bill paid, you will take the money I bring you now, or I will go, because I believe if they refuse your payment, then they are unable to collect on it legally ever. (I am not an attorney, I just act like on on the tv in my head) ;0) Am I right??
