If Peyton Manning had allowed Curtis Painter to touch the football in practice or in late 4th quarter blow outs then maybe the colts wouldn't be 0-9. This is so similar to the Kobe and Lebron debate...yes Peyton Manning and Lebron James dominate in the regular season. Tom Brady and Kobe have won multiple championships. I could see why people would say Tom Brady and Kobe are the best in their respective sports, but...I keep thinking that both football and basketball are team sports. There are so many intangibles. In order to win a championship, you need to win as a team...it wasn't Tom or Kobe themselves winning the title...

@cucoiDK I would say that's true, most people don't get that it takes a team to win a SB. Colts always have had an offense but no defense. The Patriots have had the recievers and defense back then. If Patriots didn't have tom brady they could probably still make playoffs. But if the Colts didn't have Peyton they would be almost worthless, the team tries to revolve around him.

In the 2008-2009 Season with out Brady the Pat went 11-5 & didn't make the PLAYOFFS plus we actually had a good back-up Qb Matt Cassel who is starting right now for the Chiefs.
The Colts are 0-9 becuz they back-up Qb sucks & there Coach cant COACH.
I Guarantee if Brady got hurt now we be n the same predicament but that 2008 season was a disappointment compare to 07 season.

If Peyton Manning had allowed Curtis Painter to touch the football in practice or in late 4th quarter blow outs then maybe the colts wouldn't be 0-9. If the coaching staff had the balls to tell Manning painter will have a chance to practice with the 1st string things might be different. Bellichick gave his QBs the opportunity to learn and practice the offense. Cassell was a good qb, he led the chief to the playoffs... THE CHIEFS

If you have tom brady plays for the colts and peyton manning play for the patriots the pats will obviously win.
