ugh tried this server out for a while and it is pure shit dont waste ur time better of playing on the new progression servers on EQ live they are alot of fun or project 1999 emulated server also very fun and just like orginal eq pre luclin

@vampirelord2k10 you need everquest Titanium or Secrets of faydwer discs to play. You can always look for a torrent tho. DO NOT PATCH TO LIVE EQ! Install eq and then install the sod patcher, patch and enjoy!

dang eq1 and eq2 are so different... in eq2 black burrow is mid teens. same with qeynos.

Yeah, that graphic glitch in 1st person is a pain in the ass. I had it with my 8 series card (just as you said), but I also had it with my GTX260 card =/. It's a real shame because honestly, even though it might be a minor detail to most people, it's a gamebreaker for me. I've always played EQ in 1st person because 3rd just never felt right, and it still doesn't. Breaks the immersion.

I've got a new comp with a GTX275 now, but I've got a feeling it will be the same. Might have to try it.

We have a fix for that out now. Check out the technical discussion. It fixes it about 2/3rd of the time.

I haven't searched for one in a while, so I'm not sure if a good one exists sorry. This is the best EQ emulated server that I've seen even though it's not the same as live. Although some zones seem the same like the ones I showed in this video(Qeynos, BB, etc).

Check out Project 1999 for as close to "classic" everquest as you're going to get. I.E. Old world/Kunark/Velious and that's it.

EQEmulator gives access to all sorts of emulated servers, some that are almost exactly like live, others more classic like P1999

Basically what I said. Zones are different in this game. For example, Freeport is now a decimated town full of high level mobs.

people hang out in athica (formerly known as felwithe) now, theres not as strong kos factors in shards of dalaya, unless you're a necro and go to a cleric guild, but theyre easily avoided
