This is a beautiful piece, that I've enjoyed playing many places.
Your performance is relatively good, but I would say that at a couple of places there's too many errors, and that the performance at some places seems very unclear, even though it's a very big church.
What I absolutely didn't like, is at about 1:40, when you remove a lots of stops before the last chord of the first part. I would definitely keep all stops until the last chord is released.
Every one of Guilmant's sonatas sounds the same. That's because there is no originality or inspiration in them. Poor man - he masqueraded as a composer. He should have stuck to performing and left writing music to the real composers.
sounds like you suffer a rare ear disease: you can hear, but you can't differentiate... that last thing I heard about it is that there's no treatment available. Sorry man.
Beyond that, I shall have no comment except that if you think there is anything original or inspired about this 'music,' then you have no idea what makes truly great music great. Pity.
