Oh, you're so witty and clever cussmouth52. No, my statement was not about your pal. It was about the fact that so-called multiculturalism corresponded with the locking of the churches and the decline of safety and cohesiveness in European and American communities. This is a fact. It was not about your friend. And the Baha'is promote this culture-destroying "diversity."
@sacredword Seriously? You are blaming the Baha'i Faith for a crime spree in your town? You obviously must know that that is laughable.....what could the conection possibly be in the farthest reaches of your imagination?
I'm intersested to know your definition of "community", since clearly the world's people have much more in common than not. That is the basis for the word "community," it is about having resourses, problems etc...in "common".
"we can live fully and harmoniously on the planet together"
I grew up in a town with many different churches. Nobody attacked each other, or even insulted each other. Everybody got along. Now that Baha'i "diversity" has been promoted, you can't walk into an unlocked church at night. Too much crime.
"as the world community that we are obviously becoming."
People want and need, REAL communities. Not fake ones. ""The world" isn't a "community." Don't make the word "community" meaningless.
"Try reading the Bahai Writings for yourself." ---
I read the Baha'i writings for many years. It was by going deep into the Baha'i writings that I saw that the Baha'i Writings were a very different thing than the promotional package that Baha'i marketers have created in place of the original religion. Discovering the bhakti and mystical content of the Hidden Words, and the very Islamic and brute nature of the Kitab-i-Aqdas, taught me that Baha'is created a fake religion to sell to the world.
The solution to today's problems is not "one world religion" that is shallow and spiritually ineffective. The solution to today's problems is a few people getting the real spiritual fruits from their traditional religions.
@DivineFellowship Wow, You really missed the point if you see this as shallow. Try reading the Bahai Writings for yourself. Then, and only then, will you know for sure. The real spiritual Truths are the same and in all the religions. The Bahai Faith has the same spiritual Truths and also the social teachings for us so we can live fully and harmoniously on the planet together as the world community that we are obviously becoming. Peace.
@bohemiandeborah -- "The real spiritual Truths are the same and in all the religions."
Invite a Baha'i to read even one page of the Bhagavad-Gita or Yoga-Sutra: He will be clueless by the first verses, not knowing what the verses are even about. The spiritual truths in scriptures like that are of no interest to Baha'is. Those truly religious scriptures condemn as ignorance the external-oriented, worldly focus of Baha'is, their body (race) fetishism. All are antithetical to those religions..
If we look carefully at the scriptures of each of the great world religions, we will find that the spiritual truths, such as the message of love, the need for honesty, truthfulness and purity, can be found in every religion. They may be developed from one age to the next, but they always remain true, and they are re-emphasised when the next religious cycle begins:
Bahá'ís believe that religion progresses from one age to the next, as conditions change and mankind's spiritual capacity develops. In this sense all religions are one, in that they are all inspired by God and are part of His great plan for humanity. In the sense that they arise at different places and times they are of course quite distinct.
How can the Muslim faith and Christianity be called the "same truth". Don't the Muslims oppress women and want to destroy everyone that disagrees with them. Please help me out here.
I just checked my messages today. All the prophets of all religions come from the same source - God. Therefore you can conclude that all religions are the same. The spiritual teachings are the same, love, forgiveness, etc. The difference between religions is the social teachings that each prophet brings. We need to understand the social structure at the time the prophet brought the holy book and we can only do this by educating ourselves instead of relying on other people's interpretations.
@marshall1959now It is a distortion of the teachings of Mohammed. Like the fanatic Christian religious right that we see in the U.S. These people have forgotten Christ's major teaching which is to love their neighbors as themselves. That's one of the reasons new Manifestations of God come to us every 1000 to 3000 years, things get distorted over time and people's superstitions take over from the real Teachings of the Prophets. Peace.

@SacredWord I live in a town where there is a Baha'i, all the churches locked their doors long long before he came along.
