  • This is actually a song?

  • His music was much more enjoyable at this time then ten years later, when he became mechanical.

  • Ashley Simpson didn't lip sync this bad! (but he does dance better than her)

  • techno surf

  • Ich bin 60 Jahre und habe 1969 meinen Mann bei dem Lied kennengelernt.Seitdem heiße ich in meinem Freundes und Bekanntenkreis Looky. So manch einer weiß nicht wie ich richtig heiße.

  • Some people are destined to work behind the scenes instead of on a stage.

  • damn, legend

  • Comment removed

  • wow..... very old memories... the first time I see this in color but I remember seeing it in B&W when I was a few years old.

  • thats a blanket not a tie

  • Ties were so much wider back then.

  • They should have had some girls dancing behind him to distract from his dorkyness.

  • Women were so beautiful during the 60's and 70's. After 1995 looks changed. Some women today are beautiful because they look to the earlier decades for beauty advice. Hell with Cosmopolitan,Elle,Vogue and other contemporary magazines for advice. Women aren't fun like they used to be. Some women are but unfortunately the majority listen to the advice of Lady Gaga,Britney Spears,RIhanna,Beyonce, etc. They are NOT good role models for learning to be beautfiul

  • Moroder is a music genius. But somehow he's not suitable as a singer or performer. I understand why he eventually became a producer behind the scenes, and let the prettier boys and girls do the singing for him.

  • I have moustache envy.

  • This managed four weeks at No.1 in the South African chart in 1970, riding no doubt on the wave of "bubblegum" that was sweeping the airwaves...

  • Priceless!

  • Oh, man!, this reminds me that anyone and anything has had a beginning, quite common not being the best. Well, actually the "looky, looky" thing sounds cheap and clumsy, but the other sections in the song are not that bad -being no more than just a couple of seconds long though.

  • @MechaGojira00 I agree. maybe no one wanted to sing a song from a unknown person, so he decided to sing by himself, even he knows he had not a good voice... cause he believed in his skills... I thing he was right!

  • yes, remember hearing this on KOMA in the early evenings all the out in NE Arizona

  • Ah yes...1969...Neil Armstrong walked on the moon, massive crowds at Woodstock partied away, Category 5 Hurricane Camille smashed into the shores of Mississippi and Louisiana and left a catastrophic mess in her wake, the Gothic soap opera "Dark Shadows" was enjoying its peak in popularity, women's hemlines continued to inch up, up, up and Giorgio was reminding everyone to "Looky Looky !" as throngs of American tweens and teens sang along with the "Ah-ooo-mama! Papa ooo mama-ma!" chorus.

  • @brownies4you I was little when this song came out. But still those were better days. Musically,Fashion,fads/trends,ideas,cars,design. Today's society doesn't even compare. Yes, Internet did exist in 1969 but only through the US military. It was done in DOS format. But the colors, sounds, smells of the 1960s were different. Perfume was better and clothing was brighter and not so dull. I remember things as they were.

  • Anybody else getting The Fast Show sminky-pinky vibe off this?

  • Here in OKC there were 2 top 40 radio stations of which just one played this record and made its' weekly survey. Personally I liked the record and have it in my files here at home. Good Post.

Larry N. Boyington, aka Larry Neal, former curator of the Wax Museum on the big 1520 KOMA

  • It remember my childhood, NICE!!!!! At my grampas house....

  • nice scarf

  • It's Brian Fantana!

  • So THATS why my dad wont tell me what he did in the 60's!!

  • So silly and cute ! then Giorgo invented the Techno Music back in 1977 with ' I feel love' Donna Summer

  • i found this in my 'watch later' list, but i honestly don't remember clicking on this...

  • This can't be real!

  • She is advertising the first ever shallot flavoured toothpaste!!!!!!!

  • He looks like his family are being held at gunpoint just off camera.

  • @Bizunth They were. I was there.

  • (1:37) Way before Reservoir Dogs, a young Quentin Tarantino struggles to find his French audience.

If this guy's mustache was just a little bigger round his mouth it could disguise, and do so much better, the appalling lip syncing on show here. But it has to be said, this video is brilliant all the same.

  • Aahmmm-maah-maah, papahmmm-ah-maah-maah!

  • this song is awesome

  • my morning has just started... but this made my day already :)

  • faked?

  • Looking like a rapist for the BMG-RAF was in back then it seems.
