  • first yr calculus and second yr. organic chem are the two biggest weeder courses in uni. they're designed to lower the student population so more kids drop out and go into trades. so what if u fail calc. the first time? do it summer school. you'll pass. since its a first year course its not gonna count for jack later on. grad schools, professional schools, employers don't care what u did first year. its those last 3 years (mostly the last 2) that determine your future.

  • bio is a great major. i'm doing a specialist in human biology. it opens the door to a lot of other fields. u can go to grad school and do stem cell research. the human population is constantly growing and diseases keep popping up. lab people will always be in demand. i switched from physics b/c of the bad job prospects although looking back i should have stayed in physics. i was given bad advice. make sure u think ur decision through carefully unlike me.

  • I switched major 6 times and transferred 4 colleges before I got my undergrad. It took 8 years total! I'm glad I did too because life in the real world sucks. haha. I wish I was back in school.

  • Barely passed Calc by the skin of my teeth. Till this day, haven't used it for anything in life yet....but they need your money so you have to take courses you don't need lol

  • The study of life and living organisms is not a bad subject but its so complicated because there is just SO many life forms on this planet. Hey wait..im like a month behind....i'll try and catch up.

  • i clicked on it cuz i thought she was pretty (:

thats a big asssss problem you got on your hands though :L

  • what i would say is, if possible try to find perhaps a part-time job related to whatever you're majoring in, cuz it's good to work a bit even when you're a full-time student. you gain experience and confidence, and you'll have a better idea whether you've chosen a suitable major. even if you have to take a class or two less per semester (and graduate later than 4 yrs), it may be worth it. if you graduate with no work experience in your major, then find out you don't like the work, not good!

  • What is it about biology that you find hard? ...

  • I changed because oChem kicked my arse.. twice.

Ended up with graphic design which i enjoy and am good at.

  • I changed my major twice. so if you wanna change your major, do it asap.

  • A girl who films herself and uploads it to youtube, and is not annoying whilst doing so?

    /Mind blown.

  • @GruesomeDemise haha, why thank you. =P
