This video triggered one of the larger battles in the history of the Eve Online MMO. Under the title 'Goondor Calls for Aid' Goonswarm Alliance asked for help defending a core system. The hope was for maybe 300 people to come help defend.

1400 pilots showed up, battle was joined and for over a full day in real time the battle raged at various levels of intensity. In the end Goonswarm and their allies held the system and the invaders have not dared return since. Thanks partly to this vid.
