I was able to catch a concert that the Headpins did a couple of years ago in New Brunswick, Canada and was amazed at the sheer talent of Darby Mills. Even with the leg cast (she had a broken leg!!!!), her performance was beyond impressive. On top of that, I had the chance to chat with her and the band after the show and they were all fantastic! Truly hoping we have the chance to hear a new release from the Headpins in the near future.........

Hmmm to funny, takes two guitar players to do what Brian us to do on his own. Say them at Barrymores years ago with Brian.

At the time Brian and Darby were not getting a long at all, you could have cut the tension with a fork. But they still put on a really good show that night. Brian was a awesome guitar player.

Hell, I saw them supporting Whitesnake in south-west Germany at the "Slide-it-in"-Tour in the first row. It was so damned hot at the concert and the Frontgirl had a grey Jogging-Dress. Guess were she started sweating first, hehe. But really: the whole gig just blew me away. Well, I was 13:) Awesome memory. Thank U Headpins.

Great Caesar's ghost! Darby is an amazing rock vocalist! I would dare say she can hold her own against any of the best male rock vocalists of any era. Shame we don't hear more of her in the states, studio or live. Hope to one day be able to catch them live in concert. Truly a gifted singer.

This guitar player is even better than Mcloud!!! All the band needs now is a drummer that can play "Breakin' Down" without botching it. Get a better drummer and learn some new material and this will be a truly great band again...

they still play a lot of gigs every year. I was lucky enough to get to jame with them back in the 80's when our bands played a few of the same clubs together. Darby is an amazing, most underrated singer.
