@ScrewThemLetsDance i hope you got to see it by now? if not, just a word of warning, you may have a slight mental breakdown when watching it. it is sooo beautiful and it jostles your heart every which way. some people absolutely hate this and there are those of us who just love it completely but i think it's hard to find someone ambivalent about it. one of the most flawless films out there.

I was able to tape this movie last night on my Cable Channel. It was 3 hrs long. Do you know that this movie won in 1997: 4 Academy Awards; 2 Golden Globes and 6 BAFTA (UK) Awards? Juliet Binoche won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress but Ralph Fiennes DID NOT WIN ANTHING. Such a shame. I will watch anything Ralph Fiennes is in. I've been watching more movies on IFC and Sundance because I'm so sick of American Movies that give you the same "wannabe" actors and actresses with nothing but T&A

Love does exist, but doesn't pass through time and space in straight lines, so our senses can't keep up with it. It seems we only ever see glimpses, but that's enough to keep most of us going!
