I got this movie as a kid on VHS. I watched it enough times We had to buy a second tape to replace the first one I wore out. This scene, by far is one of my favorites!

:D i love how john uses the drums in this, it gives it the jungle feeling to this, plus i love the ending it's soft, like you saved someone, or made it out of a jungle it's one of the best sound tracks

one thing about monster movies...they always let the not-so-important characters get eaten. so even though eddie saved the rest, he was still fated to die.

not that I dont like Jurassic Park and Lost World; I love these classics...but mebbe they could have spared poor Eddie...

I was thinking the same thing too! A former friend let me borrow the CD to hear on Christmas 1997 and it was awesome. But that one track when the T-Rexes arrive to kill Eddie was the highlight of the score.

Here is how eddy dies in the book: Eddie was swinging the strut in wide arcs,the metal smacked agenst the raptors. One of the raptors caught the strut in its jaws and jerked it hard. Eddie lost his balance, twisted,and fell backwards toppling over the side. He cried "Nooo"as he fell. Immediately all animals dropped down to the grownd. They heard Eddie screaming in the night. The raptors snarled. This was in the high hide not at the trailer.

but the movie is different than the novel i think eddies death in the movie was very original and more epic i would really want to see the lost world novel.
