  • Are you a wizard?

  • does this hurt when u hit someone.. or yourself :P ?

  • Pm me if you want a hacked lockerz invite. You will get 900ptz first time you log in(a PS3 costs 625). It's awesome! The first 10 that pm me will get a special invite, you'll get 1500 instead of 900. If you dont belive me, well why dont try it? It takes like 1 minute. Dont you know what lockerz is? Ask me and i will explain.

  • You know..I have to wonder if the military ever tried something like this...

  • the set up is

    n/s s/n s/n s/n s/n s/n

    then it flips to

    n/s n/s n/s n/s s/n

then the ball is pushed >this> way cus of all the south on south magnetism. I think.

  • i want to make a gauss gun out of the magnets they use in partical aceleration

  • imagine if you used high power electro-magnets!

that is how to make a gauss rifle

  • magnets get stronger the closer they get, right?

    right.

each magnet speeds up and collides w/ the next one bring the next one forward at a higher speed which in turn collides with the next one and so on. i think

  • your somewhat right...... the little square things are the magnets and the ball bearings are just regular ball bearings. when one ball bearing is attracted to a magnet it hits it sending the ball bearing on the other side of the magnet shooting at the same speed as the first and then that one is attracted to another magnet witch increases it speed even more and so on and so on

  • Executive Ball Clicker for assassins.

    nice :D

  • lol scientists have made a device that can send a particle from 1 spot to another 2x the speed of light

  • To go past the speed of light you need a infinity of energy.

  • No. To accelerate to the speed of light (C) you much have infinite mass...

  • to go past the speed of light you would need infinite energy and infinite speed and the atom would have infinite mass which would destroy our galaxy with a black hole

  • HAHAHA, infinate mass. lol. mass is the whole problem why we cant get to the speed of light. you need at least wavelike properties. no physical mass with particle like properies can go as fast as the speed of light. the faster it goes the more the mass increases. you can put all the energy into it but it will go into the mass and moving that mass at the current speed instead of acceleration.

  • @YooDragon or enough energy to get 1 second into the future or past. which is theoretically possible :P

  • @YooDragon Well in one of Einstein theory's you can't go past the speed of light but only reach it and according to some scientist neutrinos can go "about," the speed of light add or subtract some.

  • Christ, that was 2 years ago ;D I was like 13, or something like that

  • yeah you could turn mercury into gold with that, but it cost a lot to make

  • shut up braiderman, what next 2times the speed of light? and are you pulling these "laws" out of your ass?

  • One problem - If you keep hitting the magnets then they will lose their magnetism. Heating or hammering disorientates the magnetic domains inside the magnet.

  • shut up, you have to heat a magnet to 100 degres to change somethings magnetism, you dont kno squat.

  • A nice example of the "law of Conservation of Linear Momentum". The initial ball is set of with initial momentum (mass x velocity). As it approaches the first magnet it is accelerated, then hits the magnet. Its impact momentum is imparted to the end ball which is set off. The chain reaction ends with the last ball exiting at a large velocity. Momentum is conserved because the remaining balls/magnets/rail suffers a recoil in the opposite direction.

  • Its called the Gaussian Effect, idiot.

  • your an asshole lol

  • But Braiderman explained it correctly in layman's terms

  • Pretty neat!

I see they are already making guns with this technology..

  • sorry. it'd be too tough to reload to be worthwhile as a conventional weapon. if you're thinking of electromagnetic weapons for use outside earth's atmosphere, that's easier done by other methods, too. railguns and coilguns are both very effective in that arena.

  • Regardless of your opinion, they are using magnet technology in weapons for use right here on earth.

  • lol. railguns and coilguns *are* magnet technology. they just aren't *this* magnet technology.

  • coooooooooooooooooooolllll

  • im making that for my science project...its sortta like a newton's cradle...

  • im making that for my science project...its sortta like a newton's cradle...

  • Now, tilt it up a bit and find some way to put a back spin on the ball to make it go farther.

  • WELCOME TO THE GUASSIAN MAGNET POWER :)

    we can increase the power!

  • Magnetic fields are less powerful the farther you are from the source. Therefore, the side of the magnet with two bearings has less force than one with no bearings. The loose bearing is drawn into the next magnet, and speeds up a little as it does so. The energy from the collision is transferred through the magnet and bearing (Think of a Newton's cradle toy) and is shot into that bearing that's barely hanging on at the edge of the field.

  • With nothing to hold it back, it leaves with the velocity that the free bearing had the instant before it hit the magnet. This goes in a chain reaction down the line, resulting in incredible speed.

(Sorry, I went over 500 characters.)

  • Simpler explaination: potential energy(PE) is less when an objects is where it wants to go. balls that are 2 away from the magnet go to right next to the magnet(different magnet but dont matter) so PE decreases for each ball that moves. all of the lost PE is transformed into kinetic energy(motion).

  • That's so cool =)

  • can you explain in english, bro?

i already check your website but in Korean!!so can you write what you are using.thanks a lot

  • Wow!What a surprise!!
