  • The fact that there are probably thousands of videos of this effect, all with the title: "Elevator Jeff Teo" or "Jeff Teo's Elevator" says it all. You did it so well people think you created it!

  • God!!! How long did it take you to do it that well?

  • excellent

  • nice watch !!!

  • OMG WHAT A LEGEND PERFORMANCE

  • I know this trick

    But perfect performance

  • that was beautiful...well done man keep it up

  • cool trick man!

  • I'm a beginner of card tricks and i can't figure this out lol, great job cant tell the change, or whatever you did, at all

  • one of the best tricks i have seen on my life but easy to do and to figure out if u magician of course 5 stars :)

  • I figured it out, but that was fucking amazing 10000/5 brilliant effect. sell it! sell it NAOW!! $25 should be a good price, amazing.

  • Hey man! I was wondering if you were gonna post anymore videos. You are very smooth and I hope to see you in the future!

    Respect, Nikhil

  • It's absolutely amazing how smooth you do it. You're very talented. What's the name of the song?

  • Nice skills, you made me concentrate on the King of hearts in the background while doin the trick : P

  • good... buenos videos....

  • I just discovered the method; and I still can't see how you get it so clean and slow... genius!

  • all of you guys, the real credit goes to geoff latta

who created this, Darin Martineau performs the best version of this with his original handling.

  • well done! you have did it very well...

I prefer this way , not the shifty...because this is a bit easy for me....

    very well done!

    =)

  • how do you do that your awesoe

  • you are the best=]

  • ... damn good.

  • Your T-shirt says it all.

    -:// Matt //:-

  • Futagawas tricks are awsome, you preformed this very well, actualy im going to practice from the manuscript and get the trick as good as you!

  • Hey jeff isn't this called fallen? anyway you do this so well its really cool. Also nice pick of music

  • Hell no.

Fallen (Daniel Garcia), Shifty (Chris Kenner), Raise Rise (Ray Kosby) and this (Shigeo Futagawa) are all essentially the same effect, however use different methods to accomplish it. This one is personally my favorite.

  • I thought I could do this trick well... but you blew me away with that.

  • only problem with Futagawa's lecture notes is that they are damn near impossible to find. And if you do youll have to pay like 500 dollars for them.

  • cool...

  • so clean and so beautiful

  • Good job, I liked your performance.

  • unfortunately my performance of the elevator isn´t as good as yours

    nice job

  • Jeff teo I will see you soon.. Ur Amazing

  • Well This is 1 of my favourite card trix ever...verry effective......and bro ur video was really amazing.....

  • no gimmicks and thats amazing.

  • amazing!

    This video inspires me!

    so beautiful and so fun!

  • this is simliar to the upcoming release of fallen by daniel garcia?

  • Fallen is an easy effect, I mean, it's easy to find out houw Fallen works. But this trick however is diffrent: it is used with a face-up card and you can see the entire deck. I'm still impressed and have no idea how Jeff Teo does it. So, no. It is diffrent!

    @Jeff Teo: Great effect + Great performance = O_O

  • Just watch it like 200 times. Eliminate the impossible. What is left, is the truth. And it is utterly simple.

  • After weeks of insane theories, I realized that the bottom card really does remain the same...hence, not "what I thought when I first began it." So simple. Brilliant.

    And lovely done.

  • Ok, this "looks" great, but how does it sound? Is this the standard Riffle?

  • It is 'soundless' with enough practise.

  • It irritates me greatly that I'm watching this in slow mo and still can't see anything. I know what this has to be. I think it's that longitudinal thing. There's nothing else it could be. And I have been practicing it that way. Question. How long did it take for you to get to that level with this effect?

  • I have watched this many times as well, and it is driving me into insanity. Well done! At first, i thought some kind of raise rise principle with multiple same cards, but it's not. Which only leaves the....

  • i've watched this many times, it's very beautiful. great job. i'll definitely be on the look out for those notes!

  • friggin sexy!

you inspired me to learn it!

  • smooth as silk

  • It does look great!

  • So beautiful. It was like the cards were disappearing. =[

  • Elevator by S.W Erdanse found in Chris Kenner's "Out of this World" book.

  • I hate to correct people, but actually it isn't in "Totally Out of Control" nor is it actually by Kenner either, lol.

It is in fact by Shigeo Futagawa. It was published in May 2001 in Shigeo Futagawa's Lecture Notes called, "Shigeo Futagawa's Lecture Notes".

    Jordan

  • I think you're confused guy, Kenner's effect is called S.W. Elevator (It has nothing to do with S.W. Erdnase) I think you're confused. If you don't have the book how do you know it is from it or it is the same effect shown here? Similarity of names doesn't mean they are the same.

  • This is an effect from the book 'Totally Out of Control' by Chris Kenner, but not available in my country.

I would love to know how it's done.

  • IM SO PISSED!!! i need to learn how this works!!! ahhh!

  • WOW!!!!

  • Beautiful!!!

  • wow..thats all i have to say

  • Dude.. That was beautiful. Like the handling is totally amazing. Great job.

As for the redits, this exat handling was first produced by Shigeo Futagawa, in his lecture notes called "Shigeo Futagawa's lecturenotes" (lol), in May 2000 I believe.

However, many people have done this move before, without publishing it. Dynamo "came up" with this aswell, but according to Myles, he knows it is poublished.
