@code675 I don't see any response, so here's an answer if you haven't already figured it out;

Check the launch-values. Usually it is set to "Global", and "Global" is usually set to "1 Bar". Change it to "None" instead of "Global" for the clips you want to launch when you press the corresponding pad.

(You might be able to set it to as short as down to some bars as well, I don't remember at the moment and I'm too lazy to fire up Ableton).
