I know how to play it, but not nearly on the creative level that you put forth.

It's almost got a middle eastern vibe to it.

What distortion peddle did you use.. it sounds like a chorus peddle to me..

Actually, no distortion pedal was used, which is why I was turning the volume up and down on my guitar.  The distortion came solely from a MEGA amp. I used a digitech delay pedal for effect, in which sometimes I'll turn the delay off and it will sound like a chorus pedal.
