the only good part to this movie and it had been done years earlier in "Dinosaurus" 1960

as to the rest of the movie PU no real actors and too much time spent on two weird guys that look like hillbilly homeless...not only that..it was not even filmed at crater lake..the locals sound like they are from the deep south yet crater lake is in oregon and they don't talk like that

Too bad the rest of the movie wasn't as good as the stop-motion in this film.

We really lost something when CGI took over for practical effects like this.

Here's how it should have looked. They set fire to the boat get covered in the petrol they both burn a bit screeming then the boat explodes. If they can pay for stop-motion in 77 they could have done that. Unless these two are main characters in which case I don't want to see the rest.
