    as for you q: about the boiling water - yes i did - when the temp is 100, it kills all the unwanted friends..(-:, you can also drown the tree in a bath.

    the cup is removable for cleaning - this is why i drew a hole in the perch - so i'll be able to remove the cup whenever i want to.

  • I really loved this ! Did you just poor boiling water over it? Does that kill Insects too?

    Is the cup removable for cleaning? So many questions,lol. My suggestion is , you sell these pre cleaned and apart for easy shipping! You did a great job. Thank you for sharing!!!!

  • yes - i peeled all the bark that i could and after just washed it with boiled water and soap really hard - when you boil your water it kills all the germs(-:

  • Can you define "cut and clean" Like, did you peel off all of the bark, and do you have to sterilize it or anything? This is fantastic!!
