I was practically glued to the tv in 1972 and I don't remember this cereal being advertised.

This cereal lasted about a minute. It was good but I recall it had a bit of an after taste. Cocoa Krispies are delicious though. I still eat 'em.

I remember this cereal too, and it just didn't taste right at all. I love anything chocolate . but Hoots really did have an odd taste to it.

I would have been 4 when this commercial came out, but I really don't remember this cereal. Like teletubetodd below, I was never allowed cereals like this (Grape Nuts & that wheat germ that comes in a jar was okay,) but I still loved the commercials for the sweet stuff. Still, never saw this one!

I remember this! I never ate the cereal (my parents forbade "sugar-charged" breakfast fare), but I loved these commercials. Guess Cocoa Krispies and Froot Loops had already cornered the market, so there was no room for a middle ground between them.

Thank GOD you posted this! I thought I was going crazy for remembering this cereal. My brothers had NO recollection of it and said I was remembering Cocoa Krispies. HA! In their faces! Thank You so much!
