Dropkick Murphys, Great Big Sea, The Pogues, Irish Descendants, and The Fables might make the sound you're looking for. Mind you, a couple of those bands are actually Newfie bands, but Newfoundland is one of the most Irish places outside Ireland so it should be fine.
