  • You couldn't of set a higher bit rate huh NBC?

  • Rear pojection tvs. More things to go wrong.

  • How the picture?

  • i have the 60in model in cali

  • if you want a 73 inch tv, get a samsung. all these brands are shit quality wise ;p

  • @Jestterx When you can find a Samsung that actually goes to 73" and up, tell me. Right now you wont find one this big unless it is from Mitsubishi. Samsung currently only goes to 65". Mitsubishi is a good brand and the TV works great.

  • @KajualGamer Mitsubishi isn't top of the line, end of story.

  • @Jestterx When did I ever say in my post that it was top of the line? I just said it's a good brand. If you want a TV over 65" this is who you're going to get it from for a while.

  • @KajualGamer89 Its not a good brand, it may only last like 5-7 months. Soon it produces lines across the tv. Its getting ripped out of you're own money, but go ahead.

  • @Jestterx Learn a bit more about DLP before judging. I have both DLP and LED tv's in my house and the DLP hasn't given any issues and has lasted much longer than the 5-7 months that you claim and there are no lines across the screen. Anyways, this video is 3 years old, DLP has greatly improved since then.

  • @KajualGamer89 You say mitsubishi is a good brand, i don't have to defend myself. since i already know who won.

  • @Jestterx Mine is fine... if you hate it why are you here?

  • @weewoodeal ohh, replying to a conversation that was buried 3 weeks ago. Why are you replying? You're not even Kajual.

  • @Jestterx I dont care how old it is... you said it so that means you think that. If u want to shit talkyou must be 12 ...if not why are you here? ill ask again an try not to dodge my question this time,

  • @weewoodeal Nice Profile, i don't even have to defend myself now lol. Peace

  • @Jestterx Ill ask you again to answer my question without asking me another question or telling me im dumb. PS i dont have my life details on a utube profile lol

  • to b ad DLP never really caught on, they have great PQ. But use alot of power, and weigh to much. Not to mention bulbs age and need replacing

  • @bottle2lip I got a 73 inch mitz and it only weighs 90 lbs. My old 36 jvc tube weighs twice that. The picture is killer it's 3d and the lamps are 8000 -10000 hours. It is a known fact that dlp's can produce a superior 3D picture then plasma or led/lcd tv's. I am sitting right now 10 feet to the left of it I am at approximately 85 degrees and i can see and read(news channel) the words on the screen nothing blurry or dark. Just my 2 cents.

  • @bottle2lip i agree with you except for its weight. they weigh light considering its screen size. my 50 inch Panasonic plasma weighs much more than my 65" Mitsubishi.

  • you can get the same tv at dell.com for $1,100 :)

  • @asianfatty123 lol me too

  • HD DVD....wow this must be old

  • I have this exact TV and it does 3D also. So fuckin epic. Ps3 looks amazing.

  • Man, Mitsubishi sure is whoring itself out on these shopping networks!! everytime I see a tv for sale on hsn, it's one of these big dlp mitsu's.. Nothing against them though.. We used to have a DLP Akia re-badged samsung, and I think I prefered it to our new Sony bravia lcd.. blacker blacks (particularly during off angle viewing), and none of that ghosting/smearing shit.

  • @bliglum Thats the problem, You had a worthless piece of shit, Mitsubishi actually builds a great DLP which there lastest laser dlp can blow flat panels up.

  • I have this tv, it does have a great picture. I am going to order the 3d attachment soon. They are pretty reasonably priced for the size.

  • i happen to think these dlp screens are top of the line in quality, anybody else?

  • Mitsubishi has up to 81 inches,3D ready, and not expensive when you compare with other tech.I hope Mitsubishi continues on this path,as the last DLP RPTV on the market.I own a Sony SXRD and sad they do not make them anymore. My second choice was DLP by a narrow margine.it was around the time the Samsung DLP Slim LED came out.On the other hand LED LCD has is pretty impressive, but costly.

  • It's a color wheel u retard and it mixes to make more colours. It has 6 main colors and a million mixes. Plus I was gonna buy this then instead I bought. A 120in projector! Way better and way bigger

  • 6 colours? lol even my old amiga had 32 colours!

  • bad quality.

  • I have this :) I love it bought it from amazon.com for 1.5K

  • ordered this tv on fathers day on qvc. can't wait to get this monster home=)

  • you might as well just get the 82 inch. fuck it.

  • and 4 years later it dies like mine did don't by one you ll be sorry

  • @edmasterson lol dont buy one... i HAVE had one for 10 years

  • @weewoodeal Please ellaborate.

  • @t5239857289578947594 Which comment would you like me to expand on? Sorry it has been a while.

  • @weewoodeal Sorry,I misread the posts and thought you said not to buy this TV.Was wondering why.My bad.

  • i have this tv its so sexy

  • thats tv is on sale tiger direct 1600$ real nice tv im getting it soon

  • i'm getting a 73" on monday when i get my taxes

  • $1,100 cheaper on newegg

  • HHAHAH HDDVD player..

  • @shadowheart43 I'd say someone needs to upgrade to blu-ray lol

  • i hava 60 inch plasma tv in the den that i love...immo put it in my bedrrom and get this mitz 73 dlp...woohoo! as soon as i get me taxes back!!!

  • @cpufukr lol

  • not 73

  • that doesnt even look like 73" o_O

  • I agree - i have a 55 inch and this looks the same (maybe it is they just dummied for the ad but why would they?). Strange

maybe 55 is as big as ya need?

  • simple answer, for the feeling of immersion at home, heres an example: my room is sorta small so if i get a 60 inch DLP and combine it with surround sound, and you get a mini IMAX at home. Since Mitsubishi has supported 3d content since 2008, i will probably get one my self. at 1100$ for a 60" just for Avatar, thats a steal. :)

  • Haha, they fall short in other areas ; )

  • @whoops20

Bc we want the biggest everything unfortunately (cars, tvs, houses). We're never really been satisfied. It's kinda sad really but I can't speak I'm 24 and I have a 37" in my bedroom and 55" in my family room in my one bedroom apartment

  • why not

  • @whoops20 im american and i'd rather have the big tv in the living room for family and parties in things my room i just want somthing to watch tv on

  • @whoops20 I want one for my bedroom because i plan on keeping it forever an will move it into the family room when i get my own place

  • @weewoodeal I ordered one for my Bedroom.. Gonna use it as a "retreat" area, nice Blackout curtains for the windows, and some drapes for the walls and I'll have a mini theater.. :)

  • @RobbieH02879 I know have my tv and love it... I have the blacked out blinds that you were talking about as well. Picture is so good i can tell all the defects in the older movies. 1080p with hdmi via Xbox 360 is a night and day difference. Got a lazy boy chair to replace my busted computer chair i was using to watch tv so now i can watch those long movies great... hope to hear that everything works out fine for you. Are you getting the 73"?

  • @weewoodeal Thanks for the reply, sounds amazing, can't wait to get it. I just ordered the 65", should be plenty big for the bedroom. I work so many hours in the car business, when I get time off I just wanna relax and watch movies or play the xbox..lol :) Glad to hear you are loving yours, makes me even more excited..can't wait until it arrives. :)

    Thanks again for the reply.

    Rob

  • @RobbieH02879 That is the size my dad has and he loves his. Yea after a long day at work its nice to come home to a movie house. Hope you enjoy your tv.

  • Meh. This is too much compared to my

52" Panasonic Viera. Which is in my bedroom.

  • im saving for a 900 dollar 60" dlp mitsubishi

  • you gotta get yourself some porcelain fountains

  • lol @ hd-dvd

  • DLP is used in DLP front projectors (small standalone projection units) and DLP rear projection television.

  • These mirrors can be repositioned rapidly to reflect light either through the lens or on to a heat sink (called a light dump in Barco terminology).

Rapidly toggling the mirror between these two orientations (essentially on and off) produces grayscales, controlled by the ratio of on time to off time.

  • Digital Light Processing (DLP)

In DLP projectors, the image is created by microscopically small mirrors laid out in a matrix on a semiconductor chip, known as a Digital Micromirror Device (DMD). Each mirror represents one or more pixels in the projected image. The number of mirrors corresponds to the resolution of the projected image (often half as many mirrors as the advertised resolution due to wobulation). 800x600, 1024x768, 1280x720, and 1920x1080 (HDTV) matrices are some common DMD sizes.

  • is this tv like lcd, plasma or rear projection tv.

  • neither its a DLP

  • what is DLP

  • i have no idea

  • ok cool thanks

  • DLP is just a projector type.. theres both lcd projector and dlp so.. it is a rear projection i guess

  • ok cool thanks.

  • rs is way better

  • simply obnoxious

  • ROFL

  • lol

  • haha,,Oh Yeah

  • @fuentez77

    rofl

  • bullshit thats a 60 inch without a doubt!

  • umm 73 inch would take up that whole wall

  • What sucks about it is when there are other lights near the dlp tv, the screen gets darker. It's hard to see when u play video games

  • thats why i play with the lights off....

  • this kinda looks smaller than 73inch dont u think?

  • wow, imagine play crysis or any game with 3 mitsubishi 73" screens together =O

  • I actually just got this same tv and I also play crysis with a gtx285 based system which I am going to have to make a video of it, All I can say it is a gamers dream.

  • i got the new 73 inch Mitsubishi with bose sound

  • Man I am getting this! Its to bad so many people think flat panels are so great when they don't know there sets will degrade and have to be replaced after awhile. not dlp! Just the bulb needs replaced!

  • Yep! I' ve had one now for four years, it still plays like the day a got it. And I put a lot of Xbox live hours on it. Spare lamp still in the closet. Have not needed it yet. Movies also look great on it. My friend has an LCD but he comes to my house to see the big fights. Funny!!

  • ya i got this, its a lot bigger in person haha

  • I sit all the way across the room from it. And at night sometimes it's still to bright. Nice.

  • any problems?

  • @pillowbugg no way, its AWESOME! i've been using it a ton and i've had it for about 2 years now, and i haven't had to replace the bulb and the picture is perfect!

  • Getting mine tomorrow.

  • Comment removed

  • I have a Samsung 42" DLP. I' ve had it for 4 years and the bulb is just as bright as the day i got it.

  • i got one about a year ago but i'm just wondering if you could use it as a computer monitor and if so, how?

  • I got this TV with a PS3 and a HDMI cable...it's sweet! Just watched Iron Man on blu ray yesterday, totally blows movie theater quality out the park

  • i have this tv and it's amazing

    well worth the money

  • Saw this tv at loc video flicks. It was the most beautiful thing Ive ever seen. Made 50 inh rear projection tv next to it look very tiny.

  • you might want to check your info before you post. Yes HD DVD did loose but it is full HD 1080P, plus at the moment it is the cheapest and still has some titles on it that wont be transfered to Blu-ray. Right now for $80 you can get a player with 10 movies. Its worth it if you dont want to spend to much money to start watching films in HD

  • Good thing. I'm hoping to combine this TV with a PS3 this summer, should be epic!
