@1updude96 I have one like that I will try it tomorrow and see if it works and will let you know. If I get time tomorrow I am going to try to make a few more how to video's. One is wanting me to do a whole hat on the round loom and another wants me to make one of making this sock in this video in full. Thanks I will get back to you.
Do you know If the purple triangles/dividers only work on the round ended straight looms? Like the one you were just using, because I have a long purple one with square-ish endings! Thank you!
OK thanks! I'll try it and see how it works... I'm doing it on the blue loom (circular) but in theory it should work the same. I can't find the adjustable thingies you have for the long looms.
@cnith I will make a how to video if you like and go through the steps for you. I will try to explain right now. After you work your heel on just one side of the loom then you start working in the round again then that attaches it to the sock, Then you work the length of your foot then when it comes time to work your toe you once again work one side of the loom but make sure you use the same side of the loom that you worked your heel on. I hope this helped if not I will make a video step by step
I'm a little lost... you knit the heel by doing one side but then how do you attach the heel to the rest of the sock? And could you do the same thing on the circular vs the long loom?
@Dana thank you no but I will. I went ahead and bought the sock loom as well. So I use it when making a sock. But this worked very well and made house booties--the yarn was to thick to go in a shoe but good around the house!
love the accent...you said just like my grandmother from north carolina. also i am glad to see i can make socks on this type of loom. have you tried smaller yarn yet? DANA

@cnirh2 it will work fine on a small round loom. Good luck with your socks!
