wow i love BJD and id love to goto a convention like thise but they dont have them in Scotland they have never even heard of the dolls i had to get my 2 boys off ebay well have one little guy whos a pre teen a little silver haired cutie about a Barbie doll size and im waiting on his big silver haired brother cant wait but if Scotland had a convention like thise id go and bring my boys theyd be looking for some friends new hair clothes and accsessories lol

Wow what a collection..some of those larger BJD's from South Korea can cost $1200-$1500 each some even more and that's without the wig and clothing..of coarse some only $200-$300..But I just adore the Yoko doll from Bluefairy Inc..the pocket fairy series..she is simply delightful to look at..and that great craftsmanship in most BJD's from South Korea

Buy one. Oh my God they are like, the coolest things ever. If you look them up though, you're going to have a heart attack with the prices. And most of those prices are for a naked, bald doll.

I suggest you go to Bobobie, get a blank, nakie doll for 100-200 dollars, then buy cool hair and clothes on ebay :)

I live in Austin and I've been trying to find more info on these BJD conventions for a while. I have a few questions: Where in Austin are they held? What is there to do at these conventions?

 Do you have to pay an admission fee? How much is the admissions fee? Is there a website I can go to for more information?
