I have both the Paraphonic 505 and a Dimension D and the chorus is completely diffrent. The 505 with external sources is VERY noisy and does not sound the same as the 505 using it's own chorus. The Dimension D is the best chorus on the planet ! it is dead quiet and has perfect fixed settings! I use it for bass guitar primarily and there is no loss of bottom end !...very rare among chorus' ! I will never sell my Paraphonic....through a nice reverb like a Roland R880 it sounds insanely good !
You know - That microMoog is quite a nice little unit. I got to baby sit one back in 1978 for a few months and I had a blast with it. All the basic subtractive functions are there, and that ribbon was a nice addition.
do you know if the svc-350 has the strings and choir that the vp-330 vocoder has? i keep reading that the svc-350 is the vp-330 in rack version. so does it actually have the choir synth?
No, the SVC-350 is a powerful vocoder only. I have owned one for nearly 20 years. I have heard that the VP-330 has the same vocoder as the SVC-350, but cannot confirm that. I did own a VP-330 for a short time in the early 90's and was not able to get as good of a vocoder sound from it as from the SVC. The VP lacks the shaping controls (levels for each of the 11 bands and balance). I remember the choir sounding great. Very reminiscent of the Optigan choir. The strings were nice, too.

Is it easy to fix an out of tune oscillator?
My Yamaha CS15D does have a similar problem in the first osc as your micromoog.

Absolutely great!
It's possibile to play the Paraphonic while an external synth is running through the Ensemble?
Thank you!

I think so. I sold the RS-505 last summer. I also sold the MircoMoog to help fund a MultiMoog.
