Firstly, it should be noted that fps isn't everything. Also, the hop up quality and your bbs have much more to do with your accuracy than any tight bore barrel. New Echo 1 M4s have the Stag Arms trademarks now, if you care about that kind of thing.

also even though the echo 1 has a higher fps the effective range is about the same even with a CA gun firing at a stock 270fps.
