  • Grt show

  • If Arsenal can keep RVP, Chamakh, Cesc and Nasri fit, they could mount a serious title challenge. Yet with Manuel from Faulty Towers in goal and Krusty the clown as second choice, they may concede a lot of goals, which may well cost them the title, as it did last season (along with an injury plague).

I know it won't happen but I really want Man Citeh to get relegated - I hate their reckless spending and market saturation

  • @Implosion99 cant see arsenal doing much this season the squad is not strong enough, look at man utd 2 quality players for every position, like you said if 1 of those gets injured who do you hv to replace them. Sorry arsenal will hv had a good season if they finish in the top 4, cant see it tho prob 5-8 sorry.

  • @STFC010 LOL, people have been saying that for the last 3 years, have we finished outside the top 4? NO. ARSENAL TIL I DIE!!!

  • 5:16 WTF West Ham 18th. move them up about ten places

  • My manchester united team would be right back john oshea center back vidc center back evans left back evra right mid valencia center mid fletcher center mid scholes left mid nani striker rooney striker hernandez

  • Hey Darren Could you give sum information on CELTIC FC too please?

  • Stop putting Newcastle in the bottom six! Even though we will probably end up there but if we survive i will be so happy :]

  • oo and...

    chelsea

    man u

    liverpool

    arsenal

    then im not sure.

if ozil goes to man u switch the top 2.

ps cmon liverpool, prove me wrong!

  • if ozil goes to man u i cant see them being beaten.

  • @XxXDJxXxHutchyXxx not tottenhams best line up tbh...

  • Why the fck are Man City buying more strikers??? They've got about 5 potential first team strikers already why do they want more??

Typical of super rich owners, want the best players in the world, and strikers are seen by most as the most important players, so they're trying to just buy all the best strikers in the world so that they can just say that they have all the best strikers.

  • The wages players want is stupid, im a Man Utd fan and I think Premier League players should not be paid so much for doing something they love. I also think that the Championship is going to be the more entertaining league this season, with as many as 10 teams chasing the title.

  • hi darren ozil will go to utd mark my words ps i would really be greatfull if you mentioned this in the show

  • man utd outside the top4 seriously? i dare any1 to place a bet on it coz u'd get excellent odds. i see it man utd, chelsea, arsenal, tottenham, man city, liverpool in that order however i cud easily see man city swapped for everton. their wasteful spending hasn't really improved their first team much and i think all the new signings cud make for a more disjointed team that acks balance.

  • Love the show... nice insight and very detailed :D

    GOOD JOB!

  • Jdjsisonsk

  • As much as I hate to say it I think UTD will win the league, Chelsea 2nd liverpool 3rd and City 4th, going down I have to say blackpool West Brom and Wigan, Wigan have no quality at all and will struggle I think Bolton, west ham and newcastle will surprise a few people they have done well in the market

  • @jimmymachtfc they are rubbish

  • @MrFaizan130 I thought Ozil was going to Arsenal?

  • I think Birmingham are strong at home, and they denied most of the big four in their stadium. In addition they have a good coach that make them play consistently

  • I don't understand why ppl keep putting man u out of the top 6. Are u kidding me?

  • Hey Darren!

i love ur show. I have been following it for a while now but never got to write to you. I am a great fan of Chelsea. My top six, of course, includes Chelsea at no. 1 followed by Liverpool, Arsenal, ManU, Man City and Everton.

  • hi darren, i have been wondering for the past few weeks if arsenal will ever sign a keeper. i believe this is one of the postions we need to improve on the most, i think we should sign Maaten Stekelenburg and hopefully a good defender. what happend to the de jong and swp rumours, i would never say no to them joining. i wouldnt mind a cheeky bid for remy aswell ( :

if you have any bits of tranfers news for arsenal you could mention, i will be highly grateful.

  • hi darren,

i heard that the kenny huang takeover bid is backed by the chinese government. if this is true then it would be great news for liverpool supporters as it can raise their profile and almost give them endless amounts of cash. as china is the fastest growing country in terms of their economy it would mean they can buy any player nd shirt sales would rocket as there are over 1 billion people there, allthogh people have concerns over human rights i think it has nothing to do with football

  • Thanks Darren, Top man :D

  • Greetings Darren I am an Arsenal fan. This is my squad for Arsenal. Stekelenburg (GK) Sagna (RB) Vermaelen(CB) Mertesacker(CB) Clichy(LB) Song (CDM) Fabregas (CDM) Nasri ( RM) Arshavin (LM) Van Persie (ST) Chamakh (ST)

  • My Chelsea Team for the CS , would be a 4-3-3 (GK) Hilário (RB) Ivanović (CB) Terry (CB) Jeffrey Bruma (LB) A.Cole (DM) Mikel (CM) Lampard (CM) Essien (ST) Malouda (ST) Drogba (ST) Anelka
  • Chelsea havnt replaced Ballack or Cole two relatively big players for them over the last seasonn or two and there ageing also got rid of Beletti, Unless they start to make a signing or two i see them making no improvement. Man U are getting too old they got lucky last year imo as they do every year i think but there like the Germans you can never write them off when it comes down to the league. Man City have spent huge again Kolarov, Toure, Boateng,Silva.Mancino to do well or be gone by DEC

  • If the champions league show means more football spy, then its a great idea!

  • Champions league football spy is a great idea love it it will be much more fun

  • birmingham are a very interesting solid team who fight for the draw, they will most definitely finish in the top ten and stay in the top flight for a very long time to come

  • Hi Darren

i think the champions league football spy show would be a good idea as it would keep everyone informed about the champions league and news about any injuries teams could have but like you said darren you wouldnt get a break

I think the Football Spy Champions League Show is a fantastic idea! I love this show and no you don't need a rest i reckon you can go the full 90 mins lol and now that Owen is fit who do you think will play up front next season? Will we have to let Kiko go out on loan too as I don't see him getting too many games..

    Abbas

  • @soljahofallah786 THANK YOU Abbas. Does anyone else have any feedback on the Football Spy Champions League Show?

  • @dailymirror It would be good to get a weekly wrap up with a couple highlites if you guys could get the rights to the footage? (p.s weekly highlight show for premier league! thanks your the best Darren)

  • @dailymirror its my birthday today :D

  • @dailymirror well worth it, Keep Darren too. will bring many more viewers

  • Owen to Bristol City dont think so.

  • Ask where people think where West Ham will finish Darren. To 'THEJOESHOW' I don't think that Birmingham will finish in the top 10 this season. They will finish 13th.

  • Craig Arbuckle from London Top six 1 spurs 2 chelsea 3 man utd 4 everton 5 birmingham 6 Liverpool Bottom 6 15 fulham 16 newcastle 17 blackpool 18 arsenl 19 west ham 20 man city

    3.Arsenal

    4.Manchester City

    5.Liverpool

    6.Tottenham

  • I don't understand how people can say United will win the league. We've completely failed to strengthen where we need to (attacking midfield and up front). We needed big signings in both of those places. Hell, I would have settled for just one of them. I'm so disappointed right now

  • @KingKungFuCantona u don't always need a big signing to be able to fight for the top spot.

  • @happy100friends But you do this time, because United proved last year that they didn't have the star power needed to win the league. Even with all of Chelsea's problems last year (Cole scandal, Terry scandal, African Cup of Nations) we still couldn't beat them. Terrible, just terrible

  • @KingKungFuCantona i thing at this time we don't need star player.Last season defensive and roonry injury and also some unfair refreeing caused us the title and cl final..

  • @MrFaizan130 And what if that happens again? We all know how injury-prone Vidic and Ferdinand are, and we all know that refereeing decisions WILL go against us. So what if those things happen again? Are we gonna make excuses again?

  • any news on ozil to utd?

  • @ChicharitoFan14 according to papers we are in pole position to sign him.The only problem is that kaka will miss the starting two months of the season and his injury could play a big part in ozil moving to madrid.lets hope SAF sign him..

  • @MrFaizan130 i think fergie could sign by monday simply because fulham play werder bremen on saturday i think so its possible and a friend of ozils said he is certain to be a utd player by september 1st hope it happens

  • Balotelli is having a giraffe! He's barely played 2 full seasons at inter, and has hardly been a regular fixture in their starting lineup! There is no doubt that he has talent but his attitude stinks! You don't demand that kind of contract until you are an established and experienced player.

  • Just below midtable I think Birmingham for him

  • Hey Darren,

This is how i think manchester united should line up on sunday.

    GK: Van der Sar

    D: Rafael--Vidic--Smalling--O'shea

    M: Valencia--Carrick--Fletcher--Nani

    F: Berbatov

    F: Rooney.

And have Park, Hernandez, Gibson, Kuszczak and Owen on the bench.

    From Sydney, Australia

  • @siddharthlaha ahh you made it on!

  • The Top Six Will Be

    1.Manchester United

    2.Chelsea

    3.Arsenal

    4.Liverpool

    5.Manchester City

    6.Tottenham

PS IM A MAN UNITED FAN

  • Birmingham will come 11th-15h

Next season will be much harder for them

  • Hi,

I am an arsenal fan and I believe that our team should line up as follows:

    Akinfeev

    Sagna Mertesacker Vermaelen Clichy

    Song

    Nasri Gourcuff

    Van Persie Chamakh Arahavin.

Gourcuff has plenty if skill to replace fabregas and him and nasri would compliment each other wonderfully. Not to mention him rejoining chamakh.

Do you think this team would win the title?

  • @mrjakem8 no

  • Have a good rest, i do also think Birmingham will finish in the top 10 grate show

  • balotelli is like 19 no way worth 180,000 a week ridiculas

  • Arsenal Team GK- Almunia RB- Sagna CB- Koscielny CB- Vermaelen LB- Clichy CDM- Song RM- Walcott CM- Fabregas LM- Nasri CF- Van Persie CF- Chamakh Manuel Almunia in my opinion is a world class keeper. He just lacks consistency and last season was actually a good season for him...
