  • February 21 is valentines day? Awesome

  • Did anybody else realize that he said valentines day was his first solo and he said it was February 21st ... Unless you have a different valentines day , mine is in February 14th ...

  • @FlabbyMcLardFat does it really matter, got the dates mixed up big deal smh

  • put the camera down and fly the airplane. It will make you a better pilot

  • ah man first solo. Gotta be the best feeling in the world. Congrats man!

  • Yea real good start, im still here

  • Your first solo and you are taping it ???

Thats a really good start in aviation

  • @VitorBBMV yea, real good start, you can see my other videos lol, enjoy

  • kind of strange watching a "first solo" where the pilot is messing around with the camera instead of staying focused on pilot duties. camera would be better if you just leave it on a tripod, turn it on and forget about it. good video but minus points for aeronautical decision making skills.

  • @dkeberhard Still here alive and kicking ;)

  • @dkeberhard Yeah, That's true. I don't fuck with camaras unless i'm at the safe and steady level altitude or A/P engaged.

  • nice landing and the stall warning does not have to go off everytime you land. once you get used to the plane you can land without the stall warning going off. if you think it has to go off on every landing then you are an idiot and you are probably the guys everyone watches pitch to high and look like a dumbass landing..

  • hay nice cassna 172 Skyhawk

  • congratulations i,m a student too so i know how thats feels

  • you shouldnt be taping your first ever solo hahah, ahh well nicely done

  • nicely done =)

  • I would say 18 knots of wind might be excessive for a first solo. I might recommend a steeper approach path. With an 18 knot headwind on final, if the engine would have quit, you'd have landed way short of the runway. Maybe that wouldn't be a big deal at that airport, but one where the runway starts at a lake shore, would be a big problem. I'm skeptical this was a first solo. First solos must be to a full stop...the touch and go wouldn't count.

  • Are you a "nobody"? I think at least you are somebody very happy to be flying, but better than to fly a cesna is to fly free and be free as a bird with no engine noise, just feeling the wind... soarrr glideee ... Congrats!!! Nice to see you first solo!!!

  • man i had my first solo last week and it's a great feeling! nice vid .

  • Great day to be flying

  • cool vid man, which airport was this at?

    great vids keep them coming!

  • very nice for first solo landings

  • you already have a pilot liscence you are a laer because you say first free flight gotcha anyway nice video

  • @popoi10yatesabe what in the world are you saying

  • good job

  • @popoi10yatesabe dude you should really get your facts straight, you can fly solo without your liscense as long as your instructor says so. you fly your solo without your liscense.

  • Nice touch down!

  • wheres the stall horn! that thing should be screaming! and if winds were 18 you shouldnt be on your first solo

  • @slobbyhobbies thank for the comment, what made you think I couldnt land with 18 knt, that wasnt my first heavey cross wind landing. and the stall horn, well it just didnt go off, I'm not going to come in at almost stall with winds that high, i was at about 50, cant remember its been a while now

  • i have to admit, it does look like u r going very fast taxiing, but thats fine, congrats on the solo, i plane to be taking my first flight soon but solo isnt for a very long time

  • Nice man, always proud of people to do there first solo!

  • Nice 172!! That has got to be an early 2000 model. I fly a 1970's something piece of crap with about 15,000 flight hours on it.

  • 2 things. 1st landing looked pretty good although minimum flare. Second landing was a 3 pointer and flat. Hard on the nosewheel.

I would have been too distracted with the ca in one hand as I always keep my right hand on the throttle. Kool vid tho. Thanks

  • Kool...kinda dangerous for #1 but kool. BTW someone WAS in the plane----- YOU WERE- WAY TO GO.!

  • not bad but youcantell is your first solo you didnt really flare that much, too fast you had to be on idle and you did not. and youdidnt even had the stall buzzer wich mean that yo were kind of fast but not bad

  • thank you for your comment, even though it was my first solo, the winds were about 18 knots therefore the best thing to do is not come in on idle unless you want to be tossed around like a salad, lol.

  • @DJQUALITY23 *whistles* 18 knots?! Nicely done!

  • Hey nice landings but yeah cut that power or have little to none on the landings. Also I'm surprised you didnt get in trouble taxiing so fast. It looked like you had enough airspeed to take off lol. I'm sure you know all of this by now but hey congrats on the solo.

  • actually, it looks like i was going super fast, when really i wasnt lol, i have a new video up. thanks

  • dammit must be so great to get into the airplane and fly around ALONE... just you and ... the cam :D lol but cool vid

  • man u should idle the power when u got the runway made

  • i would have if the winds were not 18 knots lol, thanks for the comment

  • Nice landings!

  • Thank you, I did my first solo with having about 13 total hours of flying time,

  • good job my dude
