Very few of the top studios use Pro Tools anymore- most switched away a while ago. Some still use it just for familiarity. There's a lot better out there these days.

to say that very few studios use pro tools is is misleading.. i agree that it is not as prominent, as it used to be, but you will find every major studio uses it. i use pt at some point in tracking/mixing/mastering for different reasons..

you cant tell me a DControl ICON board is better with logic... it all just depends on your Gear and I/O and PLUGINS as to what you wanna use.. if you tracked on SSL it would be diff. since its analog. or say an AWS 900 can go analog or digital. options<3

I liked this record but I felt it lacked a fresh edge. Like more of the same only executed better. Stabbing the Drama is the one for me.

i agree with you man i did like this album alot but i didnt like it quite as much as say figure number 5 and stabbing the drama... the thing missing from the newest album was peter wichers and now that he is back i really look forward to hearing the next album.

you realize they probably over-dubbed the mastered version of the song on top of the video and synced the playing with the audio so it sounded more impressive. Also, the soundboard has little to do with it, the microphones, placement, and sound engineer do most of it
