I totally agree with you. Why are 85 percent of death scenes on movies woman? TV has become a huge influence on people. I think that's somewhat of the reason why it's becoming such a crazy, fucked up world.

Many eating disordered people eventually die by suicide because they can never achieve the "perfect body." That photoshoot could be testifying to that. Eating disorders are not glamorous.
after listening to this video i wonder if maybe they are doing this for those of us living with eating disorders because i guess if i get what i want i will become so thin i disappear. and life with ed makes me wish i was invisible, ie. dead. afterall isnt death the only way to be a success at the only thing i seem to do good at (ie. anorexia). to look as good as those models i think i would need to be deathly thin. sorry, just my thoughts and rant.
You need to disassociate yourself from your own fears and prejudices. The "beautiful dead" is a common artistic model practiced since time immemorial and found in Shakespearean plays, renaissance paintings, opera and even literature. The purpose is to create the powerful contrast between young beauty and its antithesis, violent death.
I don't quite understand the whole death thing. However, I agree with Templarart that this is art and even though Shakespeare isn't around, it is the same type of art of that time, just modernized. Think about as we watch a movie where we learn a background of a certain character and we attach ourselves to them. Then when the character is killed in this dramatic way, we become more into the plot of the movie to catch the bad guy. It's psychological.
