WoW is good but its one of the oldest mmo out there. They are a lot of loyal players. This game though looks like fun. Its pvp system is the best i seen so far. But its not likely that any MMO can beat WoW unless they can come up with new ideas. I mean this kinda looks like a larger version of wintersgrasp in WoW. We will just have to see if what this game can do.

To all who are comparing this to WoW... WoW has gone through a transformation since its birth. Once, a hardcore pve/pvp game for the non-noobs back during WoW classic (1-60). Things got interesting during Burning Crusade(1-70), as more content was brought to the game aswell as arena, but did not change too much, but addons were introduced... Now it is a game no longer for the hardcore pve/pvp players. Since Wrath of the Lich King, pvp is a joke, aswell as pve is too simple now. but... WoW>Aion.
for one it is different than wow but not the same type as wow. This new games will be mostly shying away from wow but it will remain to be seen for at least for me if they have different approach than wow.
Everyone wants to know, is this better then wow, should I leave wow for this. The pvp in this is fun, its more like LOTRO's pvp but not so tacked on. Its better to compare this game to LOTRO then WoW. It's simple a really good MMO that can be a good alternative to you if your sick of WoW. Keep in mind no game is as dialed in on gameplay and control as WoW is, its just how blizzard roles. There is a reason they have 12 million players and other MMOs have less then 1 mill. That simple.

PvP is great in my opinion, being able to fight in 3 dimensions of movement, The game doesn't rely on grinding like most games, quests and grinding balance eatchother out in the game.
If you have the time and money, buy this game, it's great.

lmao are u level 50? No. U have not experienced pvp properly yet, U have probably been killed by higher levels in the abyss. Deal with it, after all its a game and it takes skill and sometimes luck to survive a pvp encounter.
Wow actually had a smooth combat system that didn't require a stroke of luck to win in fights. The pvp element is either massive zergs or ganking, until they design actual arenas, they wont have "strategic combat." I mean most interrupts result from a lucky attack during a cast, most spell based interrupts require a cast time and an additional time for the actual spell to fly and hit the target.
This game has already been out in Korea for a year, and there are still major improvements needed.
wow pvp sucks hands down aion just came out (north america) all games like wow take time to get better wow is on like 3.3 patch almost i think aion is at 1.0 or something like that its guna take a few patches to get all the bugs out
im not saying wow pvp is good now, it was smooth before. The point i was trying to make was that you could interrupt spells like fel domination, but you cant really interrupt a greater heal here, all because of the interrupt system they implemented. Aion is at patch 1.5 with Korea pretty much beta testing it for us for a year.
How is their resurrection system better? If you wipe in a dungeon, and people die right under the mobs, you would need a chanter to rez them to safe areas.

Dying and paying for soul healing gets so much more pricy at higher levels than simply repairing. This price however does even out near end game.

WoW is good but its one of the oldest mmo out there. They are a lot of loyal players. This game though looks like fun. Its pvp system is the best i seen so far. But its not likely that any MMO can beat WoW unless they can come up with new ideas. I mean this kinda looks like a larger version of wintersgrasp in WoW. We will just have to see if what this game can do.

To all who are comparing this to WoW... WoW has gone through a transformation since its birth. Once, a hardcore pve/pvp game for the non-noobs back during WoW classic (1-60). Things got interesting during Burning Crusade(1-70), as more content was brought to the game aswell as arena, but did not change too much, but addons were introduced... Now it is a game no longer for the hardcore pve/pvp players. Since Wrath of the Lich King, pvp is a joke, aswell as pve is too simple now. but... WoW>Aion.

Its better to compare this game to LOTRO then WoW. It's simple a really good MMO that can be a good alternative to you if your sick of WoW. PvP is great in my opinion, being able to fight in 3 dimensions of movement, The game doesn't rely on grinding like most games, quests and grinding balance eatchother out in the game.

Wow actually had a smooth combat system that didn't require a stroke of luck to win in fights. The pvp element is either massive zergs or ganking, until they design actual arenas, they wont have "strategic combat." I mean most interrupts result from a lucky attack during a cast, most spell based interrupts require a cast time and an additional time for the actual spell to fly and hit the target.
This game has already been out in Korea for a year, and there are still major improvements needed.

The point i was trying to make was that you could interrupt spells like fel domination, but you cant really interrupt a greater heal here, all because of the interrupt system they implemented. And could you elaborate on how wow pvp sucks hard? Dont just c/p something off a forum either, or say thats its "so easy" without backing it up with concrete evidence.
Aion is at patch 1.5 with Korea pretty much beta testing it for us for a year.

Dying and paying for soul healing gets so much more pricy at higher levels than simply repairing. This price however does even out near end game.
