I read the biography of ACDC and was amazed that one of the first record companies that they had a deal with thought they were good but suggested they get a different singer (!!??).

That's like saying Led Zep is pretty good but really need a better guitarist than Jimmy Page.

However, it shows that ACDC was something differen and ahead of their time. It took a while for record reps to wrap their head around it.
