If you are interested in shred, take a look a several instructionnal videos, like John Petrucci, Paul Gilbert, Michael Angelo Batio, Patrick Rondat (french guitarist). They have some good exercises!
i agree, I've been playing for little over a year and im just starting to be able to comprehend and play sum pretty good dragonforce riffs, just practice and you'll get there =)

Hermans part of this solo is soooo much harder look up herman li solo, one of the first things that comes up is the part this guy is doing chorus on. Btw nice job, needs improvement tho
nice. i like sam's solos (and the break) in this song way better then herman's. unluckily for me, my guitar doesn't have the amount of frets sam's does :( but i'm getting there with insane bending lol
Fair good. Most of the tapping was pretty good, some bits in there were a bit off, just practicing helps. Timing is probably something you need to work on. Learn the rest of the solo and it'll be awesome!
