I actually work in CDC. No we do not connect with any other facility. Yes, Space center is just right down the road. If you notice he is a truck driver, probably carrying food products. If I can tell you one thing, is that the open "cave space" you see in the video is just the tip of the iceburg. It's a fckng labyrinth on the scale of which you could not even possibly imagine. These facilities do not appear to be too deeply underground. They appear to be barely below the surface.
If they are old mines that have been expanded, I would say it's a good thing they are being used in a useful manner.
I don't necessarily see aything sinister about this.

I worked in those KC caves in the early 80's. No heat, no a/c, didn't need it, naturally ~70degrees all the time. Train rails through them, cars, 18 wheelers, it is a full storage and distribution hub for most major corporations. I worked for a Liquor company, offloaded box cars of booze.

i've seen documentaries on these empty mines before, on both history channel and NGeo. some of these are empty salt mines, they are enormous.. and are miles deep. These are salt deposits from the OCEAN, That in itself is amazing to me.

I've been in two of these. You can drive for miles underground. If you go by their exhaust vent on a hot day, it's like air conditioning outside. a tsunami of cold diesel smelling air blows out. But they already have biggest % of the population in jail by comparison, why, to create jobs for prison guards, lawyers, etc? I actually work in CDC. No we do not connect with any other facility. Yes, Space center is just right down the road. If you notice he is a truck driver, probably carrying food products. Which we store and have done so for over 30 years. We have had millionaires wanting to buy our facility for fear of 2012. however, we have freezer rooms that if they are shut off will cause cave-ins.

There definitely has to be MORE to these undergroud facilities. Probably some massive elevators that go down, big enough to transport mass amounts of supplies and personel to the deeper areas.

I've been in every cave that I saw in the video... I did sales for the company I owned. Many of my customers were in those caves.... there is nothing sinister about them except they are creepy. We have several similar cave sites on the Kansas side a few miles fom my house. The new company I will start in April will rent space in these caves. Lotsa vacancies as commercial real estate is in the dumps. I will use my business space for storage of personal survival items in the even of a disaster.

Finally this video shows underground storage facilities. That is all it shows so there are no evidence of it being a goverment controlled facility. They would have to have palces for people to go to relax and do things. undergound facilities have certain advantages to them: maintance is real cheap, the heating and cooling costs are minimal. there are alot more reason just think about it.

I really don't want to seem like the party pooper but I don't see anything unusually compelling about this video even though it is interesting. Don't get me wrong, I am extremely open minded and fascinated by caves, bunkers and other excavations. Answer me this, where are the strange and eerie scenes one might expect? Things like armed guards asking for a badge number or retinal scan, unrecognized technology, laboratories?? Also, it's no secret that Missouri has lots of mines.
