This is a great debate. Even though it is a mock debate RC is asking good questions and bringing up good points without being disrespectful. When I listen to other debates (Christian vs. Atheist) atheist are usually disrespectful and look more to win the crowd over than to defeat the opposing argument.

I love this debate w/RC playing devil's advocate. I heard parts of it broadcasted over the radio a while back. It must have been terribly difficult for RC to argue from a position he doesn't believe in. It would have been very interesting to see Dr. Gerstner or RC debate a real atheist.

I don't think this would convince the scientific community. Just because you have two educated doctors, debating Christianity or the existence of God, doesn't mean that it's true. I can't believe how many times I see stuff like this, but I doubt if you're going to see much of it in the future.

You go against Christ's commandments for salvation for he gave the keys to the Kingdom to Peter which is Act2:38. You go against the teachings of all the other apostles such as Mark 16:16. You go against the teachings of the apostle Paul as he also taught the need for water baptism. You are trying to change scripture by making up or more likely repeating a lie that was taught to you. The scriptures indicate that Baptism and Christianity went hand in hand. The Apostles and the first century church felt it was essential and the teachings of Jesus referenced baptism and salvation together.

Baptism is part of the New Covenant/New Testament and not the Mosaic Law/Old Testament. It seems that you are saying that you will gladly continue to sin and willfully disobey because of grace?

Matthew the 28th chapter ended with Jesus telling the apostles to make other disciples by teaching and baptizing them. It was the last thing Jesus told those whom he was closest to before he ascended into heaven. It was very important, wouldn't you think so?

You would agree that Jesus was not implying to Bapitize Unbelievers but Believers. And Once Born Again By GOds Grace alone. The First Fruits are Faith then Repent and Be Bapitized none of the Fruits are Roots.

Leave out Gods Grace and everything you do becomes a Root A Root of Sinfull man trying to please God without Jesus as the Center.

Cant you see this in the catholic church and many others.
