One of the organisations like BFI / NFT / Kaleidoscope hold the original off-screen tape but multiple VHS copies of that tape exist all over the place in private collections. There was never any 405-625 electronic conversion made unfortunately. It's a pity, as you could vastly improve the quality these days with digital restoration techniques.
This material is great, have understood that this material heralds from a discovered CV-2000B Video Reel collection that has been doing the rounds of late. Am very glad people were out there recording this material on what was then very expensive video tape and machines.Have been researching classic early domestic video recordings of late, as well as professional video formats. Any assistance or info would be much appreciated if possible.
