  • @kyohel3 and it would be the top video

  • @kyohel3 just leave a comment

  • Ojatro>>>>Chuck norris

  • Its a shame that you dont have your own show or the discovery planet or animal planet. I think you would blow the shows they have on there right now out of the water. Keep up the good work and look forword to seeing other videos from you.

  • @MrBootydaddy Thank you for the compliment. Yes, I agree. It is so very disappointing to watch those lame wildlife tv shows with no real interesting material on animal behavior to be excited about... Anyway, I'm in the middle of filming new material and will posted some cool stuff soon. Thanks for watching.

  • How big do Cottonmouths get?

  • @MrBootydaddy The largest Cottonmouth caught was 74 inches long but in general length of an adult snake will be under four feet.

  • Do they kill pythons?

  • @IncomeGDI A cottonmouth will kill and eat a smaller python but nothing bigger than itself.

  • too dangerous, just chop its fucking head off

  • @FamousUnited1878 Nice. Is man really the most intelligent animal on the planet? I'll take my chances with snakes before I would a so called "homo sapien".

  • @reptilia5 I hear what you're trying to say and I agree that our human intelligence (capacity of rational thinking) has has been grossly insulated...

  • Nice cinematography.

  • @theropodia Thank you.

  • My favorite species for sure. I love seeing them curled up on the creek banks.

  • @TheSnakeLibrary I'll post more videos on water moccasin soon.

  • @ojatro Yes! Cant wait to see them. Very elegant species.

  • i wanna swim like that

  • Snakes are beautiful. I don't like it how people kill them or consider them killers. They only attack if you give them reason to. I love snakes.

  • these snakes are aggressive! I seen 'em chase black folks off from they fishin' hole down yonder in alabam'

  • @HiWay69s no lie, ive been chased by them down here in alabama before. these things dont play, id rather run into a rattlesnake than one of these. plus we got these things everywhere down here

  • @cashcrazywhiteboy damn, i only see em chase black folk, you white, how come?

  • @cashcrazywhiteboy they are notorious for chasing people. my family is from the outer banks of NC, and they are more common than any other venomous snake out there. everytime someone sees one, they kill it because they are relentless in trying to bite you.

  • @TheJdemosthenes They dont try to bite you, they hold there ground and wait for you to leave. they dont chase you

  • Incredible how little it disturbs the water when it moves. Beautiful creature.

  • i was fishing under some trees one night and these cotton mouth snakes were dropping into the boat result: PAIN!!!!!!!!!

  • the way that snake swims really creeps me out!!! I really hate snakes!!

  • @Gman6755 i have a snake and i bet you'll love it... i'll let you pet it but it has a bad temper and gets really really angry very easily especially when being touched but it never bites so i think you'll be fine and besides you'd prefer it more in it's angry state.

  • @Gman6755 why do you?

  • @123reef1 I just hate snakes and want to kill them on sight. I am not sure why but that is the way I am toward snakes. I don't try to justify it to folks, it is just the way it is. If I saw a cottonmouth, I would kill it without hesitation. I accept how I feel towards snakes.

  • @Gman6755 try going through snake handling lessons you may find out why you hate them then you might start to like them

  • @123reef1 I kid you not, I won't touch any snake, even harmless ones! I love most animals and have various pets but snakes just do something to me. Death to any snake that crosses my path!

  • @Gman6755 oh come on its fun just belive in your self

  • @Gman6755 The thing is... Killing the snake is gonna get you hurt. Most people bitten by snakes were either handleing it or trying to kill them, Youve gotta becarful, Best not try to kill it if its near your home call a specialist. Your only gonna get hurt if you try to kill it

  • @WolfXY2J Don't bet against me coming out ahead if I decide to kill a snake! I grew up hunting these critters in the swamps around my house. We used to shoot them with .22s. A bullet from 20 feet away works everytime! I know a lot of folks like snakes, I hate them and I want to kill them when I see them.

  • @Gman6755 woah bro ok no need to bite my head >.>

  • @Gman6755 Probably because you fear of them, because you're ignorant or them and their importance. Sorry you're missing out on enjoying such a cool animal.

  • @Gman6755 stop killing snakes so the rest of us can enjoy their beauty you selfish bitch. If you keep killing snakes like a bunch of other rednecks theirs not as many snakes to find. Besides you aren't from Florida your probably a fag immigrant so that's like someone coming in your house and killing you fagger.

  • @coltonneal1432 listen up coltonneal1432, I hate snakes and when I see one, it dies, period!!! That goes triple for any venemous snake!! I hate snakes and I can't help it so just deal with it!! And btw, I am no immigrant and certainly no fag so keep your little names to yourself. I would say more but I see another snake out by my backyard pond and I am going out to kill it so I am signing off now!!! Death to snakes!!!!!

  • @Gman6755 yo bitch hop up in my yard and kill my snakes then ill take a bat with nails in it to your FUCKING head, bitch

  • @coltonneal1432 Pipe down keyboard commando boy!!

  • It's scary that people actually have to be told to leave the huge snake by the water alone... who on earth would actually go pester that thing?!? The only cottonmouths I've seen have always just run away from me, and I've always kept my distance. I hear they can get aggressive if you corner them or they feel threatened.

  • He forgot to mention that they are also capable of being highly aggressive!!

  • hey is that snake the one you got bit by?????????

  • Cottonmouths swim above the water. The way you can tell them apart is the other snakes cant swim like the Cottonmouth.

  • It amuses me and pisses me off at the same time when a real herpetologist posts these vids both for snake fans and for education and in the comments you find stay at home herpetologists who know nothing trying to discredit the experts. These are normally the people who end up in the ER with a snakebite or on the other hand never see a venomous snake in their lives. Anyway...I like the choice of music in this one. The banjo notes make the snakes seem peaceful in their homes. Which they are.

  • Hooray 4 tha indians..!!

  • lol as he holds the cottonmouth right next to him,

  • mmm

then you make a show like this, and post it on youtube, lets see how that goes...

dont comment if your going to critizise.

  • This guy is a dumbshit. the CottonMouth is a fatal bite without antivenom

  • I know someone that has been bitten by a cottonmouth and survived...without anti venom.....

  • man i live in virginia near the dismal swamp, cottonmouths are everywhere, he's a braver man than i to mess with them lol, i gotta watch it or they drop outta the tree branches into my canoe

  • Yeah...my dad used to live in Florida and he said they are very aggressive and will sometimes chase you. It's also true they will drop out of trees into boats. so it's wise to watch out.

  • there very aggressive

  • Are you sure about that? I ran into them at Back Bay Natl Wildlife Refuge in Virginia Beach - 2 very large ones and they couldn't wait to get out of our way. There's a gentlemen who posts videos of venomous snakes called Viperkeeper and in one of his videos he approaches a Florida Cottonmouth out in the wild and it was the same thing - the snake took off immediatley. There is a species of non-venomous watersnake in the SE US which are extremely nasty and are sometimes mistaken for cottomouths.

  • @vogtste yes, you're right, every moccasin ive seen has swam away or just kept moving. but i did get bit by a water snake a few weeks ago and thought it was a baby cottonmouth, but fortunately it wasnt venomous, it was some kind of water snake

  • correction at 0:32 actually the venom of a cottonmouth is pritty high and they are fatal if you do not recieve antiveni, it actually depends if you are a child then its a high fatal chance for an adult like ur self then yea the chances are lower.

  • I'd like to have a lot of experience like that man so I can keep venomous snakes too.

  • Yea I could spot a Cobra or a Rattlesnake but loads of these venomous Pit Vipers I'd mistake them for normal snakes.

  • I like your advice about finding a snake near water, to leave both of them alone, the ignorance of people has made everyone believe that any snake they see near water is a Cotton mouth.

  • Ja, the famous Cottonmouth. Interesting interesting. The guy who makes these films is great.

  • i love watching snakes swim. so graceful.

  • Milking it with the glass looks painful on the snake when it bit

  • yeah but more painful if u get bitten by one :)

  • TRue that...

  • Good combination of images and music to give an accurate view of this snake. Thanks for avioding sensationalism.

  • He doesn't seem to mind the attention... oh wait there you go milking him...
