Sports Car GT Intro 1999 PC Electronic Arts

Every time I see this intro, I feel sad since this was a time of sportscar racing I wish I would have followed closer back in the mid-late 1990s. Nothing wrong with today's sportscar racing, but I miss this time of sportscar racing in this video. Oh... and Sports Car GT rocks, especially the PC version!

This game changed my life, I was 14 years old I discovered a little car the BMW M3 and I loved racing that car. 12 years later I became a BMW Master Technician and had only owned BMWs, e36 M3, e39 M5 etc. My career was started by a video game.

i love how the bmw m3 symbolized the game. it was on the cover and was just about the main car in the intro. but i have a question. wat is FINA? is that just a sponser or is that teh name of the series?? also does anyone know a website i can download this from??

This is one of my fav racing games, between others NASCAR 08, Ford Mustang the Legend Lives, 24 Hours of Le Mans, Gran Turismo (all of them), since then I started to be pretty fanatic of Gran Touring Racing and Le Mans too such as The 12 Hours of Sebring and the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the hardest cars for me to control was when I had the PORSCHE GT1 with over 1000 Hp, the ones I knew better were the Mc Laren, Panoz, Saleen and BMW , lol! But what was fun for me was the music!

9 years ago I used to play this video game pretty often, but unfortunately had to stop playing because my grades weren't the best as a freshman in high, but how about now that I got graduated form college from Automotive Tech :) My gosh the hardest one for me was HOCKENHEIM!

I hated Lime rock the most, but the game was alot harder with a keyboard.  heh I still have it installed and still play it.

I remember the chicanes at Hockenheim being tricky, but most ridiculous was how the AI was so fast in qualifying (i couldn't keep up) but so much slower in the race
