  • i used it for like 3 albums and now is asking me for a fucking lisence FROM the artist!

  • Thanks

  • Hi guys i came across a problem importing protected files into nero project : one or more files could not be added to the compilation add support for wma files. Ive been looking for a solution like downloading nero wma plugin but didnt work..so i suggest downloading nero 10 which isnt hard to find.. and you can freely import protected files no problem..thx and good luck

  • how to burn a music cd if the time I select the drm protected file to record nero says: Cant record protected files

  • I can´t even play it on Windows Media Player, I have several files in this format, the way you say doesn´t work because it doesn't even let me open it with Nero. HELP???

  • Question. Is there anyway to add DRM to a WMA? My mp3 will only accept videos that have DRM...

  • can you help me can i convert mp3 to DRM so that i can play a song on my cell phone

  • ...or you can just play the song while recording it with Windows sound recorder. Convert from .wav to .mp3. I been doing that since the late nineties.

  • how do i convert this to windows movie maker?

  • tunebite doesn't work for me

  • your blogspot is dead,

and so is your other site.

this new look for youtube sucks.

i can't see how old these comments are.

my drm files are already expired.

can i do anything with these?

is there something that will play these,

so i can proceed with removing protection>?

    thank you.

  • worked for me. Cheers

  • Doesn't work dude. Nero stops saying I need a license. I thought the whole idea was to get around the WMA DRM issue. Tried over and over again. Am I doing something wrong. I don't think so....

  • @beamer888100 yep, this fails

  • Doesn't work. My files don't convert into MP3's once I have them burned. I use eRightSoft Super to convert, which has never failed me before.

  • ha. good job bro. but guess what. yes you made an image and mounted it but you will never get 320kb quaility from this process. the bit rate from the burning software cant match the drm encryption rate. therefore if you ppl would just quit being lazy and use a torrent and format your hard drives youll never have to pay for anything again. ever.

  • Not all music is available on torrents.

  • DAEMON TOOLS.

  • The third method works universally for any kind of DRM, atleast the ones I have tried. Thanks.

  • Can you do this with a lot of songs at the same time? Or do you have to do this song by song...

  • Can anyone help me Convert an MP3 to a DRM file for ringtones on my cell phone ? thnx

  • Works perfectly! Thanks!

  • Many thanks.

  • Does the free trial of it only copy 90 seconds of the song or the full version just for a certain amount of days?

  • yea convert movie procect file youtube

  • Anyone know how to convert mp3 files into drm ... it's for my cell phone if yes thanks you so much

  • thanks for the tip man!!

  • very nice......daemon tools is what i use to play iso files / dvd's

  • the software probably is worth paying for,

but is there anyway i convert the protected files for free ? :( and i really don't want some shitty trial version that gives me only a a minute of my song? D:

  • you saved me...my whole library was drm protected and i bought an ipod but couldnt transfer my library. thanks!

  • you have done a very good job thanks a lot dude

  • what if i want to convert it into a drm file? because my phone can only use drm files as a ringtone

  • i have the same problem too !!!!

  • why not just get DRM removal software?

  • I use converter TuneCab Ultra - the easiest!!!

  • TuneCab Ultra is not free. You can only copy the first 90 seconds of a song. If you want the rest, you have to pay.

  • Torrents my friend.

  • Comment removed

  • so am I able to download tunebite for free?

  • yes but it has a 60sec limit in the free version which makes it pretty much useless.

  • Thanks a lot mate. U just helped saved the day

  • Hey i used this program(tunebite), and when it searched a DRM protected file. it says "starting playback" then a small screen pops and says "You Need a License to Play This Song"

i closed it beccause i have to other option. then it skips to the next song......... sooo it wont let me take the DRM protection yhing :(

  • Thank you your awesome!!!!!

  • Im having a problem with nero, it keeps saying I don't have enough licenses to burn or something along those lines. Anyone know what to do?

  • Will this work with Zune pass songs?

  • hmm, the video didnt really gave me what you promised, as a recording directly from the sound card is NOT a file conversion, however i will probably do this anyways since i've spend 40min looking for a valid converter that goes around the drm protection. tbh i only really saw a minute of your video to see what program you used, but a good video nonetheless :)

ps. i LOVE your dialect, hehe xD

  • or mayb u can just save it to poweriso..and then mount on daemon tools..duhh!

  • nero 7 not doing it :(

  • Perfect - keep it coming. Solid voice track and nice presentation.

  • How can you remove the protection from a WMA video so that the vid can be edited?

  • Nero told me i didn't have "enough licences" to burn?? what should I do ??

  • thx for this video! It helped me a lot! :)

    greetz from germany

  • what version of nero is that cuz i already have a roxio cd burner on my comp. which is apart of nero, so thats stopping me from burning music files as img files

  • Great Video, my drm protected files are now converted mp3s, thanks for this great tutorial.

  • nice

  • how do u do it off videos i need that lol thanks

  • Thank you very much sir!

    You helped me alot

I am going with the 3rd option in your video.

  • whats DRM?

I downloaded songs from spiral frog

Its free but it puts it in wma protected format

    would this work???

  • HI dude..i did the samething too..yes if what he says is tru den u can try it the songs from SPFrog is in DRM protected format

  • Nero told me i didn't have "enough licences" to burn???

  • this doesn't work..

  • Ya but ive got like 60 songs im no waitin gthat long... each song is about 5 min long

  • youre the fucking best, you rock, viva wal mart. godly god

  • BATMAN!!!

  • Modern music sucks, doesn't it?

  • @solboard rap musi is awsome and its been there for like 3 generations

  • I have tried recording .wma pc-pc via line in mic input and Audacity, I have tweaked the settings sampling,EQ even bitrate, but the sound quality is subpar, usually the bass hz are cut off sharply.(You probably can't tell the difference on computer/laptop speakers, so this is not for you ;) ) Can someone evaluate this difference in sound quality in tunebite?

  • If a crappy band has one good song...I'm not spending a fucking grain of rice on the CD.

I will buy a good album, if I can find one...

  • waste of a cd though to do all that for a conversion

  • What the *** every time I go to rip it off the CD it says that I am trying to convert a protected file and it wont do it.

  • Same here. All that and it won't work!

  • Thanks!!!!

  • I have nero and every time i try to do this it says: not enough burn licenses available. can someone help me?

  • Do not burn as "burn-CD" do "burn-wma-CD"

  • Thanks man, very useful info.

  • This is a great way to do it if you have the time, But You don't neccesarily have to use these products. That and there's something I personally use called "Tunebite", which can convert the DRM Protection right out anyways. Either way, you get the song unprotected. Great Job for showing the work!

  • yea i use that. i think it just records it but its the same quality!!!!

  • hi i need some help with tunebite...when i put the songs in the place and they start recording and they say there done only about 1:00 minute is there of the song. what do you do?

  • well done! thanks

  • thanks man! saved me alot of running around.

  • I didn't utilize these steps. I did test out TuneCab before buying to ensure it actually worked on Vista.

My suggestion is to eat the $24 or $34 is you want video conversion as well and get TuneCab. It's simple, effective, and works very well.

The only hangup is you must add approx 40 files at a time. However you can add them back to back to back. I'm currently converting about 300 songs as I submit this comment.

    Thanks.

  • tunebite is free w/ video ...

  • Tune bites is NOT free, you can only copy the frst 60 secs with the demo version.

  • useless tutorial, doesnt bypass drm and the tunebite application is just like the others ive found which require some kind of purchase or license key.. lol wouldnt be a problem but i cant dl torrents at school. :[

  • if u wanted to convert to a lossless mp4, can u do the same?

  • This helped me so much, thank you!

  • very good tutorial, thanks so much!!

  • Man, my Nero has DRM checking...

  • Thanks very much, brilliant totorial. I used the third method and it worked perfectly.

  • I use TuneCab. It converts any purchased or copied music or movie files and almost any audio or video file to MP3, AAC, WAV, MPEG4, DivX for CD, iPod and other MP3/MPEG4/DivX player file formats at high speed and CD quality - legally.

  • does tune bite keep all of the tags like artist album artwork??

  • The late Tunebite version does everything and renders an honourable copy! recommended!

  • Tried the last method and it did not work. When I click on the WMA file I got an error message that said ("The track you are trying to play is a Napster track...") Explorer automatically opened the napster site. I used nero in my attempt.

  • vdeio - did you try to underload the WMA file with WinMix?

  • thnaks ..only flaw is that its time comsuming

  • it's time consuming if you don't use the accelerated mode. In accelerated mode it's very fast and keeps the same quality

  • I used the second method, but Tunebite rules, using it for a long time now..and it can do video too

  • keep up. nice.

  • great! thanks

  • There is another simple way to do this. ShareDRMusic use a virtual CD burner, and it can do burning / ripping / encoding automatically. The software name is: Share DRM Music

  • Well, yeah but it's not free !!!

  • nice 1

  • this is precious information man thanks

  • lol, too bad he's Indian or Pakistani, not Kazakhstani.

  • thanks man~really helped me alot

  • man... I don't care about your accent and speaking english, The thing you did helped me a lot.

ThankS!! it's cool video, bcs You've made all describe of all steps how to do it! rate - 5

  • BRILLIANT!

  • i knew this, but nice that somebody takes the time to make a good tutorial :)

  • Hi Man!

What if Nero refuses to add the file because its protected, so next steps are not possilble to be done

  • thanks a lot

  • it didnt work!

  • Just try NoteBurner as i mentioned and it is much better than TuneBite.

  • lets say i have a protected wmv video file and it is protected, is there a way that i can take the protected encryption of this file so that i can play it without having to download the license?

  • Great tutorial

  • Thank ya, come again!

  • Good Tune, Nickelback Photograph

  • What a splendid idea to put tutorial video's on youtube, i've watched a few sofar. Would you show us how to how to rip a DRM protected WMV??? i use tunebite, but it doe'snt help me WHAAAAAA

  • do you mean the DRMed videos that show up as DAT files in temporary internet files folder or the ones where to watch them you need a DRM license to view or both

  • I mean the ones that can only been seen with a license. So far i have no clue how to crack those suckers...I tried a thing or two, but it was'nt any good for me.

  • the ones im talking about are found on News sites like channel 4 news for example where you can watch clips of their newscasts, those show up as the DAT files and they play fine from temp internet but if u move them somewhere else they wont work, there is a post on a forum on the video help page google it then go to the search on the page and then type in streaming wmv leaved dat file in temporary internet in the search bar

  • Excellent!!

  • Tunebite works in realtime which means it is slow. What you would want is FairUse4WM which actually takes out the drm. Faster.

  • NoteBurner also do this! it converts DRM music in very quick and cheap way!

  • Sound quality will be reduced theoretically, and it's worse than buying a CD and ripping to mp3.. If you have a service like Rhapsody ToGo, it's probably a pretty good way to pirate music without really having to paying for it.. Music might contain audible watermarks that trace back to the music purchaser.

  • Actually, there is a program that just came out called FairUse4DM. It converts about 1 CD's worth of DRM-protected .wma files into non-DRM .wma files in about 20-30 seconds! Just google it, and at least one of the results should have a link to download it.

As for Tunebite, I tried it (before FairUse4WM), and it didn't seem to work very well.

  • Great Video!

  • There are much better tools wich require much fewer clicks: I converted DRM protected iTunes/WMA music files with SoundTaxi to MP3 files. It works great with Napster, Yahoo and iTunes and the MP3 play back just fine on my new iPod. To convert 300 WMA files into MP3 files iy took less than 1 hour - that's 12x speed. This is the fastest most easy to use tool I could find. They have a free trial at http://www.soundtaxi.info

  • nice video but tunebite is too complicated to use and rather slow

  • Nice vid mate. I didnt think you could do this as easily

  • only 1 "L" in "blogspot""
