the japanese 930SH came out late 2008. i think it was about 5 months after that that the 1810C came out in china.

i have one here in my hand....... its really not bulky at all. it looks huge in videos but i was surprised at how small it is in RL. its not tiny, but not as fat as it looks in pics / vids.

3G won't work but everything else should. You just have to set it up correctly. It'll work best with t-mobile.

I believe the price is high because they are factory unlocked vs using a hypersim. Factory unlocked is a lot more stable than sim hack.
