Everybody's talking about the dispatcher and what he said...shouldn't the issue at hand be that this lady called 9-1-1 terrified because someone was threatening her with a knife and nobody showed up...2 AND A HALF HOURS later she called a SECOND time and that's when this incident occurred? Why did she have to wait 2 and a half hours and why did she have to call a second time? Seems to me if they did their job right the first time, none of this would have taken place.

I was at work when somebody rolled their car over a curb. The street is elevated about 10-15 feet above the parkinglot and the car went down the hill and slammed into a tree. multiple people called 9-1-1. The hospital is maybe 4 minutes down the road LITERALLY it is a STRAIGHT ROAD from the hospital to where the accident was. about 14 minutes after the first call came in sirens were finally being heard. It took almost 20 minutes for them to arrive from the time of the first call... Pathetic

It's ironic how you can drive through the safest towns or neighborhoods with the lowest crime statistics, and every 5 minutes you see at least one cop car patrolling or stopping people to give out tickets. And if there's even a minor traffic incident, 5 or 6 cop cars respond in just minutes. Yet, in the most dangerous neighborhoods where you would think there would be a cop on every corner, you NEVER see the police anywhere and it takes them an hour to get there when you call 911.

I was at work when somebody rolled their car over a curb. The street is elevated about 10-15 feet above the parkinglot and the car went down the hill and slammed into a tree. multiple people called 9-1-1. The hospital is maybe 4 minutes down the road LITERALLY it is a STRAIGHT ROAD from the hospital to where the accident was. about 14 minutes after the first call came in sirens were finally being heard. It took almost 20 minutes for them to arrive from the time of the first call... Pathetic

It's ironic how you can drive through the safest towns or neighborhoods with the lowest crime statistics, and every 5 minutes you see at least one cop car patrolling or stopping people to give out tickets. And if there's even a minor traffic incident, 5 or 6 cop cars respond in just minutes. Yet, in the most dangerous neighborhoods where you would think there would be a cop on every corner, you NEVER see the police anywhere and it takes them an hour to get there when you call 911.

You drive around some towns where there is virtually no street crime at all, and you see cop cars everywhere just waiting to give out tickets or respond with sirens to a minor car accident. On the other hand, I got lost one night in downtown Paterson NJ, one of the most dangerous parts of NJ, and I couldn't find one cop car anywhere. I was racing up and down the streets and running red lights for 15 minutes just trying to get outta there. Not 1 cop anywhere!

The crime ridden neighborhoods don't have nearly the same amount of people paying those taxes because many are on welfare or sell dope and you can't tax that. I'm not saying it's right, but if you want more police then the people will have to work more. And no, the economy is not that fucking bad, it's been like this since the beginning of time. It's common sense.

The call was disconnected and the only thing that heard what he said was the recorder. This had to have been released without authorization or the public would have known what was said. I also bet she was a frequent flyer with that same guy several times. He was in training and knew that.
