MK3 fatalities sequences just suck ass. I cant believe the programmers got so lazy that didnt bother to make a separate animation for the body to fall down after the decapitation, instead they just cut the same graphic of the guy standing like if it was made of paper. The same with fatalities that rip the torso off. Not to mention that when the characters exploded you could clearly see more than one skull and several pairs of legs and arms coming out. WHAT WERE THEY THINKING!!

Cartwheel fatality was stupid, i agree, but that comes straight from MK1 and its not stupider than many MK3 fatalities. Besides the Dragon Snatch fatality makes up for that because its a really cool fatality, one of the best of all MK and its disgracefully ruined in MK3 as an animality.

Yes Liu Kang Dragon fatality is one of the best fatalities in MK, and in MK3 it wasn't ruined. It same thing basically.
It is ruined because the dragon animation SUCKS, just like all the other animalities, unlike MK2 where the dragon looks awesome. As i said, the cartwheel may be unoriginal but still much better than many MK3 fatalities. At least an uppercut is more likely to kill you rather than getting scared by an ugly guy...

Brutalities are good, after all its what MK is about, a brutal way to kill your opponents. I honestly lost track after MK3 because they just messed up the story too much and ruined it after that. The story makes sense up to MK3, but after that its just nothing but a cheap excuse to go on with the gore, besides i didnt like the new 3D graphics, i like the digitalized actor graphics better.

@superrcain it's not the programmers, but the artists to be lazy in that case. And, it's not laziness. It's simply the fact that you needed to use as little graphics as possible at the time to make them fit in a certain limited data space. That's why the same graphics were getting re-used. Now maybe you and 26 people will understand why these things are the way they are and you'll be pushed to understand how a game is made (the web is full of resources in that sense).
I am a PROGRAMMER MYSELF, so there is not much you can teach me about this matter. Limited data space is NOT a excuse, because all games have the same restriction and most of them make the most of the space they can use. Simply put, MK 2 is its predecessor and had the same space restrictions, nevertheless they didnt commit atrocities MK3 programmers did, such as having a character standing still after being beheaded...

When i say programmers im talking about the staff in general, all the guys who have to be with the development of the game. I dont care whose decision was and i dont give a shit either, the thing is that whoever made that decision was being mediocre because data space restrictions are no excuse for having 10 skulls coming out of a single body, in fact its the opposite. My logic is very simple, MK2 had the same restrictions as MK3, yet fatalities were well animated where MK3 fatalities were NOT.
@Aquarius199 Quan Chi's fatality in MKDA. At least with Liu Kang's, it was because the White Lotus Society doesn't believe in violence. Can't really explain Motaro's, though.
n64 version of MKT was rushed as you can see sprites are all over the place motaro is dark like the background, epic fail, psx or Sega saturn ports are the best.

@superrcain True enough on that point. They shoulda fixed that, but if you see Ed Boon's attitude on Twitter, it was clear he wouldn't have done so I don't think. FFS, the guy releases Freddy Krueger instead of Tremor or another MK character and calls it genius. lol UMK3 was a great game, but maybe they'll reconsider doing the HD remakes.

@superrcain Tremor was a character that was to be featured in MK: Trilogy, but never made it due to the memory restrictions. He is far from any new character, and that is why I want him to be in the new one. He was only seen in the shitty MK: Special Forces game.

@superrcain it's not the programmers, but the artists to be lazy in that case. And, it's not laziness. It's simply the fact that you needed to use as little graphics as possible at the time to make them fit in a certain limited data space. That's why the same graphics were getting re-used. Now maybe you and 26 people will understand why these things are the way they are and you'll be pushed to understand how a game is made (the web is full of resources in that sense).

I am a PROGRAMMER MYSELF, so there is not much you can teach me about this matter. Limited data space is NOT a excuse, because all games have the same restriction and most of them make the most of the space they can use. Simply put, MK 2 is its predecessor and had the same space restrictions, nevertheless they didnt commit atrocities MK3 programmers did, such as having a character standing still after being beheaded...

When i say programmers im talking about the staff in general, all the guys who have to be with the development of the game. I dont care whose decision was and i dont give a shit either, the thing is that whoever made that decision was being mediocre because data space restrictions are no excuse for having 10 skulls coming out of a single body, in fact its the opposite. My logic is very simple, MK2 had the same restrictions as MK3, yet fatalities were well animated where MK3 fatalities were NOT.
