i saw something last night.. i was hoping it was a green flash, but this green light lit up the night sky.. one hit from the west, and about 5 seconds later one hit from the southwest.. there's no way it coulda been a green flash..

@alexisafox Wow -- sounds cool. The Perseid meteor shower has been active already, so maybe it was one of the fireballs that sometimes happen with the Perseids.

in those conditions set the focus to manual and then set the focus to infinity that should solve blur at the wrong moments, great vid all the same

Yeah, the next time I hike around Cape Mendocino you can come along and carry the tripod. Wouldn't have helped the autofocus problem anyway.
