  • Thanks. She looks so lovely! I missed her skating so much now that she does the commentary. And it looks like she enjoys her job. What else does she do beside the commentary?

  • Shizuka's skating in a lot of shows (she reduced David Wilson to speaking gibberish in awe at Festa on Ice in Korea this year!). She appears in a lot of programs about sports (she did the commentary for the Beijing Olympics and appeared in a program about Cirque de Soleil) and, of course, she does the figure skating commentary. :)

  • Which one is Shizuka. Arakawa.. the one on the right or the left? Please respond!

  • Shizuka is the lady on the left, the one who wears a black skirt. :)

  • Thank you for uploading this video. It's amazing. Looking forward to seeing him in World Championship.

  • Oh dear,

Looks so effortless. Takahashi will have a very serious competition now.

  • Wow...4+3+3=10 almost without any stop!? Just amazing...

  • actually Plushenko is the 1st skater to have done this combination & still the 1st to have done it in a competion but it's good to see this combo after such a long time ;) bravo!!!

  • i agree with you. sometimes i get too dizzy seeing it a lot...

  • I didn't even know he had mastered a quad! Wow.

  • That is ridiculous! And he did this combination effortlessly. If he puts this in his program, he will definitely sky rocket above the rest of the field.

  • wow... amazing.. id like to see him accomplish this. wish he could make it to the GPF and see him blow everyone away.

  • He's in 1st after SP. :)

  • Plushenko has landed 4T/3T/3Lo in competition (2003 GPF), but that was under the old scoring system. Nevertheless, it would be impressive if Oda pulled it off, especially under the new scoring system.

  • Thanks for the info "Eagle009"

  • I have seen Plushenko and Yagudin complete 4T/3T/2Lo many times but I don't ever recall they land 4/3/3?

I happen to saw the 2008 Nebelhorn Trophy this year and saw Nobu lands 3A/3T/3Lo..which is worth 17.20 points(base value).plus he received +1.25 GoE...amazing combo!

If Nobu can land this 4T/3T/3Lo..I believe this is a New World Record!!!

and it is worth mind boggling...18.8 points!!

I would love to see it.

Best of luck Nobu, and well come back!!!

  • @fgr8sktrfn Oh this comment is very late but Plushenko landed the 4T-3T-3LO in 2002 and has done it a few more times since then. Oda should try for a combination with a quad, the triple axel and a triple toe loop or loop jump! But that would probably be very hard
