I think people are being a little harsh. I'm sure if this song was its own song and that the LP original didn't exist, people would find this song much more enjoyable. I feel the emotion from the original track is what people are holding on to when listening to this song.  Let go of that and listen to this song for its beats, and you'll appreciate it more. But, this carries neither's emotion. One is pulling for remorse and a concept of time, the other, pulling for tight beats and something to dance to.

In my opinion, the two cancel out, and you have a pretty dead song.

I know, most "remixes" just add in a drum beat to the background and pass themselves off as original. The Glitch Mob and their ilk aren't like that, which you may have noticed. They're actual remixes.
