I saw this footage recorded from a high quality VHS, before it was edited for TV; After the truck hits mini-truck, the police car pans into view, you can see a piece of meat, which is one of the bodies, flopping around on the street. ( first shot around the :10 frame of this video, but not clear) Both bodies where shredded almost instantly.

Needless to say, it was a closed casket funeral.
