It's an ihi turbo. Make a fist & it's not much bigger. Lol

My engine has 330 hours on it. It's a Daihatsu 3 cylinder. 23 HP.

Trans is hystat. I think a little boost for mowing up my steep back-yard with the finishing deck would be nice.

I don't think he did anything else to the engine. I didn't on mine. I just turned the fuel up a little. I don't know anything about the subaru turbo but I also don't know how big your engine is. If the turbo is too big it won't make any boost.

I KNOW, it's MTD built :(

But I've watched yoour videos MANY times, & recently came across an old Subaru Legacy SS turbo. It's a tiny thing & think it'd work. I just want to know what was involved in the install besides the obvious plumbing.

@bbutler365 he didnt use the powerplant, just the turbo. Plus these tractors dont have ECU, they are mechanical injection

what motors are you guys running?

Kubota D-600 3 cylinders. They are what came stock in most of the Cub Cadet diesels. Some of the later Super models had D-640s.

Check my other videos. The one pulling is mine. The red one has the fuel turned up as far as it can be with the stock pump.

That is just Sweet!, so whats the tubro from? did you have to do a lot of pump work to compensate.
