As a three year student council President I find not only President Carter a great but also a peace-maker to the world's nations. Like to say Thank You. You made do the things I myself believed I couldn't but look now a 3 year President.

President Carter was the ONLY post-War President to deal with the economy NO MATTER WHAT the political cost to him.

Americans just care about how their pockets are affected NOW, so they get the prostitute politicians they deserve.

Maybe one day America will evolve into a nation that DESERVES a President as good as Carter was.

Jimmy Carter was a weak and ineffective president. At least George W. Bush learnt a little in his second term. Carter however, has still learnt nothing from his past mistakes. Carter insists on staying in the limelght by pushing outrageously warped and controversial

ideas. It's no wonder that still to this day, a crashed military plane in the Iranian desert remains a poignant symbol of a failed president and leader.

Carter inherited an awful economy and foreign policy from Nixon and Ford. He did his best to flush the turds that the Republicans left behind, but could only do so much in four years. In the succeeding years he has more than proven his worth as a great human being. Your Georgie boy could stand to learn a thing or two from him.

What Carter inherited was the Arab oil embargo. This is what caused the depressed economy, not the "turds that the Republican's left behind. How did Carter handle it? He told Americans to turn the heat down and wear thick sweaters?!? Typical of his "effective" presidency. That's why he didn't get a second term and frightened Americans away from Democ rats for 8 years!! Carter has coined the phrase "a Carterlike politician" which has come to mean a useless and weak politician.

ARE U KIDDING? Carter is one of the most corrupt of them all! Check out his association with the BCCI, a "ligitimate bank " that bankrolled organized crime, slave trade, prostitution and terrorism- a bank that Carter was very intimately associated with and profited from .
