In the race on moonview highway, when you crashed into the truck near the end.. If you realized the like the lap before when you went towards the truck it turned, just thought i'd point that out... Im not very good at this game trying to improve..

Wi-fi's getting to aggressive for me, so lately I just play with my friends whenever I can. It's interesting with our different play styles. I use the Cheep Cheep Chaser on Manual, my friends use the Standard Kart Small on Manual, Magikruiser on Automatic, the Daytripper on Automatic, the Classic Dragster on Manual, the Sneakster on Automatic, the Offroader on Manual, the Standard Kart Large on Automatic, and my sister uses the Shooting Star on Manual. Things get hectic but fun when we meet. XD

Yeah, Moonview Highway is my favorite and best course that I can play followed by Koopa Cape close behind. In Moonview Highway, as long as I don't get peppered by items, I can race perfectly in just less than 2 minutes...unless something weird happens...

But yeah I'm a very good racer. Not pro material yet since I'm using auto, but I'm still very good.

Re: Checking rear view for dodging purposes - Try just checking rear view more often, not just in response to warnings. You'll find you can dodge better when you already know where they are. It's not foolproof, but you'll at least have a fighting chance.

I'll need to practice on that. I often find myself driving off the road if I stay in the rearview mode for too long.

That and I can't do it using Manual drift while holding an item behind me because of the Wii Remote layout.

Use Right on the D-pad instead of Left to hold the item. It's a stretch at first, but by doing that you use your left thumb on both the right side of the D-pad and the A button so you can block and check rearview.

One thing at a time though. Practice just randomly checking rearview, then when you feel comfortable, change to using Right on the D-pad for blocking, and then combine the two.

That's a good idea, using right instead of left. I'll try that. I prefer to suddenly transition into things, as I adjust faster that way.

@DJMiggy: There's a reason that I always play with that combination and nothing else. Yes, I'm quite competitive especially that I'm still stuck at auto still, but hey at least I race really good still right?

@Melbester9: I haven't heard from you in a while.

Nice racing Overhazard! You gotta get used to Mirror if you wanna win. You get so furious when someone goes off the track just to flip you out. I don't really favor the fact that there are bomb cars around Moonview Highway. They're kinda cheap. <_<
