I will be adding the Apprentice series to my DVD collection. This show is intelligent television (I know thats almost an oxymoron), in a world with so much garbage on TV. I blame shows like Survivor, and the Real World, for dumbing down TV. And I also blame viewers for just accepting idiotic junk as entertainment. OH, and the camera work is pretty good on the UK version, so I don't know why you're complaining about that. I think you're just used to US shows that constantly change the camera-shot every 5 seconds and have a lot of flashy editing. UK shows don't do that, and for me it's a lot more pleasing to watch. I don't feel like I'm going to have a seizure watching European shows, and the camera work comes across as a lot more "crisp" bc it doesn't bounce around to a bunch of different angles and shots.

I quite like the UK version. They are assigned many tasks where they actually have to make money. The US version a lot of the times lack tasks where money is the primary focus.

The UK version is more realistic. US version primarily focuses on getting attractive young candidates who most likely aren't qualified enough for the job they are competing for. The fact that the US version appeals to someone like you, who complains that the UK version's women are "fat and ugly" explains everything.
