no, it means about 180 ponds or about 80 kilos. Noofs are big. As big as a man. Mine is 32" high at the shoulder.

A few years ago before I learned how to swim, i was in a small boat that capsized off the coast of Nova Scotia. I was too far from shore and yelled for help. Two such dogs came out and reached me as my energy was used up and I was going down. One grabbed the back of my bathing suit and pulled me towards land. Someone reached me in a boat after, but the dog had done all the work. I know from experience that Newfie dogs love water and have a natural lifesaving ability. Best luck to you!
