The 308 Win is a superb round for pigs, however I have found that a 243 Win or even a 223 Rem do well if you place your shots. My current "pig rifle" is a Marlin 1894 in 44 Rem Mag. Variety is a spice of life! :-)

Headshot and behind the ear videos are my favorite, great shot. Do you think a .243 will be enough to have similar results, or is the bone plate too thick? I saw a seperate video behind the ear dropped him with a .243 same result, but that was different tissue to go through. Just wondering, thanks.
